Raw and Unrefined . . Today everyone expected me to have beautiful refined works of art, a beautiful campaign, an art show and this is all due to my subject matter. You all have mistaken. My artwork might be beautiful at times but don’t miss the messages! All year around I paint stylized hearts and sometimes they symbolize different things. Today i decided not to post that but instead a raw stylized unrefined anatomical #heART. We get caught up in this gift giving lovely mushy day and that’s not what love is at all! We can do that with anyone, and it can be fun! So enjoy it! Love is unfiltered, it’s scary at times, it’s letting yourself be wide open with another soul. It can be painful and at the same time make you feel so strong. When someone has a hold on your heart it could be so uplifting and at the same time so damaging mentally and physically. It is like jumping off a cliff each time hoping your wings spread. Sometimes they don’t instead it’s a free fall and you hit the rocks at the bottom. It hurts and it scares us to climb back up , but we do this because we know what it feels like to fly! Love is not perfect. Each person has to know what love is for them, so most importantly love yourself enough to know! #HappyValentinesday! . .
