You’ll get better with practice! There’s not really any system behind either Hiragana or Katakana (Although some Katakana is based on Kanji I think) :3. There is (sometimes?) behind Kanji’s so I reckon you’d enjoy it! Are you doing the LFA? :D

Nah I'm not doing the LFA. I wanted to but then I kinda failed first year and decided to focus on my actual modules (ahaha look how great that's going...). I've started making an effort now mainly because my sister says she's learnt hiragana and I can't have her knowing something about language that I don't, I'm the linguist! You did the LFA last year, right?

I’ve been living by the same philosophy for the last weeks… You say at least you’re learning Hiragana (yay!) I’ve been doing similar but with Kanji :D

yay hiragana!! I suck so bad at drawing them haha. And after learning hangul, it's coming as a bit of shock to me just how unsystematic hiragana are... I don't even want to think about kanji yet!
