BAD OKAY IT'S GOING BAD!!!!!

(this is mostly a joke; i've had a big mental block with it for a while because i've lost track of the sound of Doc's voice for the last chapter rghrghrhg HOWEVER!!! i literally just moved that chapter to my notes app so its less of a mental hurdle to pull up the document LOL. so i'm hoping i can wrap it up real soon!)

The color pallete for the teams r hideous

Ehhhhnnnn… most of them are fine, actually?

I think more what’s been done with the palettes is a problem. Color arrangement matters, as a glance between Shanghai and Florida’s skins will tell you – they have the same colors, but red with yellow accents looks sick and yellow with red accents wants to know if you’d like to upsize your Coke for an extra ten cents.

Really the only team whose colors I don’t like are Philly (partially because it’s too close to SF, and partially because I just don’t like that “light tangerine” orange) and Florida (which, again, is a problem of design, not the colors themselves – although I 100% agree the main team should have their Academy team’s Miami Vice color scheme).

Times like this I wish I had spent a little more time developing my drawing skills so it wasn’t so hard/frustrating to get down designs for my own damn characters.

But I have an easier time writing when I have a proper visual to go back to for consistancy so I gotta do it
