So with your John Deacon Autism and loves Disney. I wonder if Brian with Autism and his love with I don't know as a kid. I think he would love The Transformers tv cartoon in the 80s quiet a lot as an adult. I mean the song "Machines (back to human) talks about robots. So maybe that's where the idea came from. please?
That’s a fun thought! Transformers came out in the early 80′s when he was very much an adult, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be his biggest special interest!
He catches it one day on the telly and falls in love. The colors are so bright and exciting. The premise is a rather new one, robots fighting other robots. The mechanics are brilliant, him flapping like crazy when they transform into robots or cars.
There’s just something about it that hooks him in and that’s it. He’s a Transformers fan for life.
He watches all of the first series and every other series after that. He reads the comics. Buys the action figures, which he has posed all over his room. He even watches the movies although he’s not exactly thrilled with them after the 3rd movie.
His favorite robot is Hot Shot. He’s a young, spunky guy with big dreams and good morals and Brian really connects with him. He’s rarely used in newer series though, which crushes him. His second favorite is Bumble Bee. A sassy, smart robot with way more merchandise than Hot Shot. His room is practically yellow.
Brian always has a mini transformer with him wherever he goes. He has some on his keys, clipped onto his bag and in his pockets. No matter how well articulated a toy is, he loves stimming by feeling the hard cool plastic and moving their limbs around.
And when he’s home, there’s nothing he loves more than lining up his little bot buddies! His table would be filled with rows and rows of toys ranging in size and quality and he loves them all.
Brian is a Transformers nut. He loves how it never takes itself too seriously and he loves all the fantastical technology in the franchise. Maybe him and John tinker around building a home made small transformer? Nothing fancy but Brian’s eyes won’t stop twinkling!
