Supergirl could have been improved with a more current punk soundtrack and her own theme song motif over the weird beat drops cover songs they choose. For the color grading, compared to the source comic it also lacks that colorful comic book punch as it felt like a mess of beige, brown, and gray with too many lens flares in the mix, especially noticable in the fight scenes.

Narrative wise I think her actress carried the movie despite the otherwise bland script she was given. An okay start for Supergirl but not a start with a bang. 6/10
