Slaine and Rayet. They were in nearly exact same situation, and yet in reverse. Like I know in my bones that this two would hate each other guts. Pick BL/FL hostility. It's not even Inaho-Saazbaum type of foil /nemessis interaction, no Inaho and Saazbaum where civilised, they used guns and robots and vague strategies, and had ideal and philosophies clashing. Rayet and Slaine would have verbally slapped each other, pulled hair, full on girl fight. Levels of bitch on bitch violence never seen before. In my brain The only thing that could have united them would have been their shared dislike for Klancain and week spot for Asseylum.

asseylum/rayet is such a good underappreciated ship. it's about ruining someone's life. it's about having no fault in ruining someone's life. It's about forgiveness. It's about not wanting forgiveness but being given it anyway. It's about being disappointed by someone you thought really would change the world. It's about making your arranged husband choke you in the bedroom to try and get that high you had when that hot girl choked you in the shower with your best friend's pendant

Anyways, I’ve had a lot of ideas for writing A/Z fanfiction for a while and maybe a lot of other people have as well but the main one is:

What if Rayet hadn’t been sent with her dad to earth, and after he was killed she genuinely thought it was due to terrans and that’s a reason why she was so loyal to Saazbaum. (She didnt know initially why her dad was even sent there though).

What if she worked along Slaine in S1, just one rank higher than him, and after S2 when Lemrina is introduced, she’s the one who works for her besides Eddelrittuo?

Anyways idk, I’ll think abt it more. My hobby is thinking abt an anime from 2014 with a half dead fandom who feeds off whats left
