Y'know??? I'm gonna drop my OCs here! B/c I wanna talk about them!
This is Noah(left) and Donnie(right)! And they are in love. Noah is a vampire while Donnie is half werewolf (it makes sense I swear)
These boys have been special to my heart b/c I made them back when I was 14! I'm 21 now so that's some context how long these guys have been around!
They are my most developed characters and I could go on about the kind of ppl they are and how they act together but I'd only do that if ppl wanted to know!
Art is by @/gloomy-prince on tumblr from who I commissioned this piece of them! Who did a fantastic job despite me not having the best ref with my limited artist skills!
@openlywitchy suggested I should do an info dump about my ldb Reei and I realise I totally need to do this since I RARELY ever speak of her so!!
Everything on wards might be a bit iffy cause I’m not fully settled on her and I have bits n pieces I wanna change BUT for now :^)))
If you really need to know, I’ve written more detailed things of her but for the sake of everyone’s mind, I’m gonna keep it considerably shorter here. They’re all done in bullet points and are titled for certain parts of Reei’s life!!
Backstory Leading to the Events of TES V: Skyrim
> Raestira (her real name!) is an Imperial born in Cheydinhal, Cyrodiil on the 21st day of First Seed, 4E 173
> She was highly interested in the history of Septims reign on Tamriel and spent most of her time reading. Raestira’s interest was mostly pinned on the story of Uriel Septim VII, Martin Septim, and the Hero of Kvatch. She nicknames herself “Reei” as a reference to HoK Raye. (From this point on, I’m gonna refer to her as Reei)
> At the age of 15, Reei’s father, an member of the Imperial Guard, was killed during a fight in the Imperial City. Her devastated mother, now turned to skooma as a coping mechanism
> Distraught by the turn of her mother, Reei set out on her own and forcibly taught herself to care for herself. She took this opportunity to explore Cyrodiil and the important landmarks of the HoK (Bruma, Kvatch... she even tried to track down Cloud Ruler)
> Reei, now 28 and feeling extremely confident about her own ability to protect herself, sets out to Skyrim to explore Tamriel
> The civil war got worse and she knew she needed to escape Skyrim. Reei headed straight to the border where she was caught. She begged to be released as she was an Imperial only wishing to be back home in Cyrodiil
The Adventures of Reei (These are in no specific order bc I’m lazy)
> After learning she was the Dragonborn, she kept making references to Martin Septim and hoped “she wouldn’t have to channel Akatosh and turn into a giant statue in the middle of Skyrim,”
> She was always fascinated by dragons, she would attempt to watch them from afar and with great interest. She also hated having to slay so many
> She begged to Paarathurnax to learn how to swear in Dovahzul, but was refused every time
> When she met Delphine, she was highly excited to meet a member of the Blades and begged to know more about Cloud Ruler, but Delphine couldn’t give her the information Reei wanted
> The moment Delphine ordered Reei to kill Paarathurnax, she was mad as hell about it and refused her order.
> When Reei met Odahviing, she was excited to finally be close enough to another dragon!! She!! Loves!!! Dragons!!!!!
> When Reei met Sheogorath, she was shocked to learn that she was speaking to Raye. They ended up talking about Raye’s time as the Hero of Kvatch and Cyrodiil at the time. Although, enjoyable, Reei wanted out of Pelagius’ mind and did whatever she needed to
The Tales of the Dark Brotherhood
> Having heard Aventus performing the Black Sacrament, knowing that the task was meant for the Dark Brotherhood (that she didn’t think were around in Skyrim), she reluctantly took it upon herself to complete the contract in honour to please the boy. When she met Grelod, she quickly despised her and found killing her was easy enough
> When Reei was inducted into the Dark Brotherhood, she met Eradras (yes, I mean Oblivion Eradras) in the Falkreath Sanctuary. She was amazed by his knowledge of the original Dark Brotherhood traditions and often came to talk to him about his life in Cyrodiil. She soon learnt that he was once friends with HoK Raye and ended up finding out more about her through him
> Reei loved the company of the Dark Brotherhood family. It made her feel right at home in Skyrim.
> Reei didn’t enjoy Cicero’s company and when given the task to eliminate Cicero, she would’ve done so had Lechance not stopped her. Lechance convinced Reei to trust Cicero and instead, let him go free
> Before going to assassinate the Gourmet, she went to get advice from Eradras. In turn, he told her she had gained his trust and gave him “a happy ending”. He passed on the ability to summon Lucien Lachance in his last moments. Reei, devastated by the death of Eradras, continued the contract in Eradras’ honour.
> When Reei successfully poisoned the “Emperor”, she and Lucien quickly realised they had been betrayed and quickly fled the area. On her travels back to Falkreath Sanctuary, she soon realised that it was Astrid who betrayed them.
> When she reached Falkreath Sanctuary, she was relieved to see Nazir and Babette still alive. When they found Astrid, however, she waited impatiently for a confession before killing her aggressively, even Lachance found it vicious.
Life After Alduin
> Reei ended up getting married to Uthgerd the Unbroken, and they live in a small house in Whiterun. They also share the house with Lucien Lachance because Reei also enjoys his company.
> They recently adopted two children!! Wowee!! Reei is also building a home out in Morthal where they plan to move when the construction is complete
> Lechance complains theres “not enough killing” going on, so Reei often obtains contracts from the Night Mother and takes Lachance on these trips
> I haven’t done any of Dragonborn DLC yet :’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’) but it’ll get added here at a later point!
Also what would've happened with Raye in a Martin Lives AU? Just curious
I have thought long and hard about this ever since I put Raye with Martin, and came to 3 ideas:
> Raye and Martin marry, everything's cute and happy > Martin returns to Raye 6 years after the Oblivion Crisis> Raye dies shortly after, by protecting Martin
I'll shove it all under a "keep reading" tab so I don't bore y'all to death
Martin and Raye marry and things are cute and happy:
> After Martin is properly inducted as the new Emperor of Tamriel, he asks Raye to marry him
> She's shocked and pretty nervous about it, and due to her nerves, she ends up asking him for some time to think about it. It disappoints him for a while, but understands her indecisiveness
> Her biggest concern about being married to Martin, is the whole emperor business
> He reassures her, and soon afterwards they end up getting married (huzzah!)
> They get Raye dressed correctly as the Empress. She finds out she doesn't get the same robe as Martin and begs to have one made for her. She wins, and gets a robe made for her.
> Raye struggles with learning how to act formally, and Martin has no idea what he’s doing as an emperor. They both give each other advice and help each other out
> Fast forward 2 years, and Raye and Martin have a child, a sweet young girl named Matielle (Matielle becomes the mother of my Skyrim vr child)
> Raye and Martin run a few formal balls every now and then, but they tend to stay to themselves unless Martin is meeting with leaders from different parts of Tamriel
> Raye likes to dance, so she almost always forces Martin to dance with her. He shyly obliges
> They grow old together and unfortunately, Martin passes away before her. Soon after, a heartbroken Raye passes away at the age of 81
Martin returns 6 years after Oblivion Crisis:
> Raye had mourned the death of Martin and took on her role as a Sister at the chapel of Akatosh (as per my regular story for Raye)
> She often prayed to Akatosh in hopes Martin would hear her prayers
> But wait! The gods have a new fun plan!!! They awaken Martin from his eternal slumber!! Wowee!!! I don’t know how this’d work out but sh
> Martin washes up on the coast of the Niben Bay mostly naked, with only his Emperors coat wrapped around him. Since Mehrune Dagon had injured him in his Avatar of Akatosh form, Martin now had a few deep scars across his body.
> It took him a few weeks, but he managed to finally track Raye down to the rebuilt Kvatch.
> Raye closes the temple early so that she may pray alone to Akatosh, but wowee surprise!!
> Martin enters the chapel to find Raye praying, he slowly approaches her and surprises her!!!
> Raye can’t believe her eyes and just, cries. She hugs Martin tightly and just doesn’t let go.
> She and Martin go on to Skyrim, where they move to Helgen and live a totally regular life. They have a child and
Raye dies shortly after the Oblivion Crisis:
This one has the least thought put into it since I like the more fluffy and happy sorta stuff with them :^))))))))))))))))))))
> Martin and Raye end up getting married and she vows to protect him with all her life
> She doesn’t want to become part of the official royalty, so she acts as his body guard. Raye always wants to protect him
> Martin gifts her a beautiful long sword, as a sign of his love and care for her (hAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah)
> With the remaining members of the Mythic Dawn still around, an assassination was planned to take out Martin.
> When the assassination attempt begins, The Blades and Raye begin to safeguard Martin.
> As they smuggle Martin through the tunnels of the sewer system (much like Uriel), The Blades get separated from Raye and Martin
> Martin is rushed by a few of the Mythic Dawn, and Raye rushes in to protect him
> As Raye fights off Martin's attackers, she is overpowered by them and is slain right in front of Martin
I’m finally getting these info dumps out there so y’all can find out more about my ocs!
Now I know you shouldn’t play favourites with your children, but Raye is my absolute favourite. I’ve probably given her the most thought and the most care!!!
From here on out, I’ll tag her stuff with #hok raye !!
Before the Oblivion Crisis
> Raye was born in Vvardenfell, Morrowind on the 21st day of Sun’s Dawn, 3E 399
> At a young age, Raye learnt how to fight and protect herself in the world since her family were homeless. To be able to afford food, Raye would often pick pocket people
> Her family struggled long and hard, but they always supported and cared for Raye. They’d often sacrifice their food for her.
> 3E 427, Raye decided that she wanted to explore the lands of Tamriel. With the lacking of sufficient funds to get her anywhere, Raye stowed away in a shipping crate. The boat she was on was destined for Cyrodiil.
> Upon her arrival in Cyrodiil, Raye had no money so she ended up going back to her old ways, pick pocketing people. She would also occasionally run errands for neighbouring towns.
> 3E 433, Raye was now tired of relying on pick pocketing as her main source of money. She begun to plan a massive heist, which she intended to work with her girlfriend at the time. However, the girlfriend snitched on Raye only hours before the heist was to occur. Raye was arrested and imprisoned for 6 years
> She becomes friends with another prisoner by the name of Eradras. He told her that he was only used as a scapegoat and was framed, Raye could see he was telling the truth and jokingly vowed that she’d attempt to help him if she ever got out.
The Oblivion Crisis as the Hero of Kvatch
> When Raye meets Martin in Kvatch, she initially dislikes his manner and “lacking of seriousness towards the situation”. However, when she, Martin, and Jauffre reach Cloud Ruler Temple. Raye realises that Martin is an entirely different person from when they first met
> Raye sets out to try and free Eradras from jail. She spends her time investigating the case and finds herself being threatened by the bandits Eradras worked with. She ends up killing one as a sign of her strength. Due to her lacking in fear from killing the bandit, Lucien Lachance offers her the ability to be a part of the Dark Brotherhood
> As a member of the Dark Brotherhood, Raye is sent to kill Valen Dreth in the Imperial City Prison. She meets Eradras again and slips him a small note telling him he’ll be out free soon. As she flees again from the Imperial City Prison, she finally approaches the head of the Imperial Guard and provides the evidence she had gathered which proves Eradras not-guilty.
> Now extensively tired from her infiltration of the Mythic Dawn shrine, Raye hands Martin the Mysterium Xarxes and promises Martin that she’ll get him whatever he desires as soon as possible. Martin stops her and makes her rest for at least three days. She reluctantly accepts and he tends to her care, he even allows her to sleep in his bed until she’s fully rested. She spends the day (when she finally wakes up after her 16 hour slumber) talking with Martin as he starts to decrypt the Mysterium Xarxes. They become close and Raye realises how kind and sweet Martin is.
> Raye, ordered by Lachance to purify the Sanctuary, keeps Eradras away from Cheydinhal as she regrettably eliminates every member of the Dark Brotherhood. She takes Eradras to Fort Farragut where Lachance welcomes them both to his home. Raye is promoted to Silencer and Eradras remains as a brother to the Dark Brotherhood.
> With Martin leading the defense of Bruma, Raye valiantly fought alongside him, protecting him from as many attacks as she could. As the Great Oblivion gate opened, Raye left to get the great sigil stone, more worried about Martins life than her own.
> Raye recieves a letter from Lachance, ordering her to guide herself and Eradras to Applewatch to meet him. They, however, are too late to save him and are confronted with his mutilated body. She is filled with anger and disgust towards the Brotherhood, but remain with them. She fights for the right for Eradras to walk away without punishment.
> With the heavy struggle or losing Lachance, Raye confides in Martin and tells him about the loss of her dear friend. She then vows to protect Martin however she can in order to prevent him from dying as well, she didn’t want to lose another one of her closest friends
> Raye reluctantly returns to Arquen in order to seek help from the Night Mother, When Bellamont reveals himself as the traitor, Raye manages to slay him quickly, putting an end the betrayal in the Dark Brotherhood. She is gifted the role as Listener
> When Raye entered Mankar Camoran’s Paradise, she was blown away by the land she found herself in. Regardless of how much she loved the environment, she quickly made her way to Camoran and slaughtered him, taking the Amulet of Kings from his corpse. As Raye appeared back in Cloud Ruler, surrounded by The Blades with Martin watching, she quickly and swiftly sprinted to hug Martin. She was so relieved to finally have the Amulet back in the right hands.
> She travelled with Martin and Jauffre to the Imperial City, excited to finally have Martin crowned as the Emperor of Tamriel. When the daedra attack broke out, Raye followed Martin’s instructions and guided him safely to the Temple of the One. Martin told her his plan, to destroy the Amulet of Kings and to possibly channel Akatosh. Raye begged for him not to do it, she’ll take on Mehrune Dagon herself. She yelled at him as he shattered the amulet and took on the avatar of Akatosh. When Mehrune was sent into Oblivion and Akatosh turned to stone, Raye collapsed at its’ feet, crying for Martin to return.
The New Sister of Akatosh
> Raye found herself alone with Martin, Jauffre, and Lucien gone. She didn’t count Eradras as much of a close friend outside of the Dark Brotherhood. Raye ended up staying with the newly formed statue of Akatosh as she came to grips with losing her dear friend.
> She refused to leave the foot of the newly formed statue of the Avatar of Akatosh. Raye wanted a sign, something to guide her to the next chapter in her life. She hoped Akatosh would answer her prayers. Over the year she spent sleeping and living at the foot of the statue, the Guards would bring her food and water to help her on.
> By 4E 001, Raye had realised that she could honour Martin by becoming a sister to Akatosh back in Kvatch. She devotes all her time to studying the ways and words of Akatosh. She abandons her role as the Listener for the Dark Brotherhood, turning her life away from the darkness.
Becoming the Sheogorath
> She becomes a well respected member of the Kvatch province, and sister of the Chapel of Akatosh. She was happy and content in this place and finally felt settled after the Oblivion Crisis.
> News had spread about a door in Niben Bay, Raye initially disregarded the rumours as a joke, but a part of her was dying to investigate it. A week later, she was packed and ready to venture. She was never to be seen again of course
> Raye took on the role of the Sheogorath. Her mind had already deteriorated upon entry to the Shivering Isles. It continued to slowly crumble as she mantled the power of the Sheogorath. She became heavily addicted to cheese and sweetrolls
> Raye’s only focus on her mind was Martin Septim. She would continuously talk and make jokes about him in all conversations Raye would laugh at the joke, only before becoming sad a few seconds later.
> Raye met ldb Reei, and thought she was very peculiar. Reei begged Raye to tell her about her time in the Oblivion Crisis, and she happily obliged. However, she mostly over-exaggerated things or skipped over moments concerning Martin Septim. When Reei questions why, Raye’s expression would suddenly break in sadness, before rebounding back seconds later.
