While the rich never go without and the homeless are forgotten, as the system rewards those who bow down to its economic thrust and way of speaking, under suits, dresses, and makeup. But, she looks closer at each person, listens as the arguments ship through glares and opinions about those who aren’t keeping up. But, Riddler was there to cause critical thinkers, to questions this Dark Knight and the powers that be. Joker told the truth about the subjectivity of each life mattering, even foreshadowed how soldiers are cast off ones wars end, and how Batman was defending those who had more. And Bane was there to recognize the hypocrisy of a justice system, which would protect those with good lawyers, while locking up those who weren’t afforded an upbringing to teach them “morals”. Little girl grew up harassed in the shadows, fending for herself. She became Catwoman, an antihero in one sense. But, Batman was just doing his best to avenge the lost lives of his mother and father against crime. When we simplify things to good versus evil we miss the total picture. This is why it is important to endure this attacks on Empathy. Only though mercy will humans ever know the true echoes of love. Dear Batman . . . lose the mask.
