Influenza holiday....
I remember when the kids were little I got so sick with the flu I had no choice but to stay in bed for three whole days. I really felt horrible, but one little part of me really enjoyed the break from the breakneck pace of my life kids business home responsibilities. Well, although not quite that sick this time, I am too sick to go to yoga, so, suddenly I have three hours at the end of the day that I usually don't have. What to do? Nothing? Memorize lyrics, nail that synth riff for the Black Keyes song we are playing that is suddenly everywhere on tv associated with the Olympics (gold on the ceiling), watch the second last bachelorette show in its entirety....WOW a mini vacation from my still slightly breakneck routine! Sweet baby Ray I am so happy for you, a job a girl.....gigantic hugs from me! You maintained such a positive, non whiny attitude throughout your life's challenges.....you are my hero, my tumblr role model......way to go!
I have a crush on raysporch. He's so sweet and funny, and he seems like an amazing father. Any woman would be lucky to have him, and his kids are blessed to have such a wonderful man to guide them through this world. I hope he has an inkling of how great he really is.
