mine and rayvenwitch's convo of 'we wants the redhead' ended up with like 11 notes meaning that like 8-9 people reblogged it without realizing that the context of it is that i was basically whoring out my Hally kid Uilleam to Syd the pirate
Some Hally that I promised both cogitae and rayvenwitch :)
feat. aggressive cuddling, energy drinks, and absolem being a dick

“M-Mally?” Tarrant asked, slowly opening the door to Mally’s bedroom. “Are you up?”
It was Mally’s day off, but at this point he hadn’t gotten out of bed and it was already starting to get dark outside. Tarrant was greeted with the sight of a layer of energy drinks covering the floor and Mally’s guitar balanced precariously on the dormouse’s dresser. Mally himself was just a tiny lump under a pile of blankets pressed up against the wall.
“Mally?” Tarrant carefully stepped through the cans, wishing he had worn shoes or something because walking through all the cans with bare feet made it feel like he was going to stab himself with something. “Your mama would be so angry if she saw all the energy drinks you have…”
He carefully lifted up some of the blankets to see a mop of white-blond hair finally poke out from the layers upon layers of blankets. He could hear the sounds of tiny snoring and he had to suppress a squeal from how cute it actually was. Mally was a pretty tiny guy, especially in comparison to Tarrant, and with his big ego one would usually forget how cute and small Mally really was. Tarrant removed a few more layers of blankets and Mally’s arms managed to break free from the cocoon of warmth they had been in.
Tarrant was unprepared when Mally’s arms basically grabbed him by his shirt and yanked him straight onto the bed. He let out a fairly unmanly squeak when he felt the arms around his waist tighten their grip considerably and Mally forcefully burying his face into Tarrant’s chest. The entire time, the dormouse didn’t even wake up.
And now Tarrant was stuck.
He tried to wiggle out, and tried to get Mally’s grip on him a bit looser so he could slip away. It was impossible. It felt like every time he made the slightest bit of progress, Mally would just retighten his grip and happily continue sleeping and cuddling his new giant teddy bear named Tarrant.
He had to admit, it was pretty damn cute. But he wasn’t sleepy in the slightest, so he really didn’t have much to do.
He heard the door open wider via the sounds of empty cans crashing together, and by the sounds of a familiar band member snickering at the sight of Tarrant stuck with Mally clinging onto him.
“I always knew he liked you.” Absolem smirked, kicking aside some cans and walking up towards the bed where Tarrant and Mally currently were. “It seems you are the chosen one Tarrant, though it’ll be fairly hard to escape at this point.”
“What’s going on?” Tarrant asked. “Mally’s been acting weird...And he’s been drinking a lot of energy drinks.”
“Hibernation. Seems that Mally has been trying his hardest to not fall completely asleep. Though clearly that has failed…” Absolem picked up a half-empty can from the bedside table and swished it around slightly before downing the rest.
Tarrant’s eyes widened. “Am I stuck here until spring?! I can’t stay here...I have a job!”
Absolem rolled his eyes. “No, you’re not stuck there until spring. Mally will still be waking up, though instead of his usual 10-11 hours of sleep it’ll probably go up to like...15 or so hours of sleep. So if anything he’ll probably let go of you at some point.”
“Why is he clinging to me though? You’re always wandering in and out from here, why doesn’t he cling onto you?”
“You’re his mate, obviously.”
“I--but, we--” Tarrant spluttered.
“Oh gods, it’s so obvious.” Absolem snorted. “Honestly half of the time you guys forget I’m even in my room and assume that you’re alone in the house.” He peered at Mally. “Never thought Mally would be a screamer, though it does make sense doesn’t it?”
Tarrant was beet red as he looked back down at Mally, who was still snoring peacefully, completely unaware of the embarrassing conversation that was currently going on between himself and Absolem. “When do you think he’s going to wake up?”
Absolem shrugged. “I dunno...I think I’ll give it another hour or two, so get yourself comfy. Maybe Mally will be in the mood to have fun with you.” He winked.
“Shut up Absolem.”
“You’re going to need to tell that to Mally later.”
“Shut up!”
“No.”
Absolem left the room (with three full cans of Red Bull), leaving Tarrant alone with Mally. He sighed and tried to loosen Mally’s grip slightly, and instead of trying to worm his way out, he just got into a more comfortable position and settled down on the bed better. Mally somehow seemed to sense that Tarrant wasn’t trying to get away anymore, because his grip slackened even more and Mally curled up more comfortably with a small smile on his face. Tarrant couldn’t help but smile too, resting his head on top of Mally’s before letting his eyes shut.
Yeah, he’d try to sleep. It was nice anyways, with Mally there with him.
