Disclaimer: This is intended as a list and simple observations of the topics that particularly interested me in the aforementioned chapters, in that sense, do not expect a linear -or totally deep- analysis.
Tumblr’s update doesn’t allow me to attach more than 10 pictures, therefore, all of them will be LINKED. Apologies.
225) Itachi shows his seven-year-old brother how he killed everyone inside the compound alongside their parents (yet he should get over it, that little emo!), and then repeats the exact same torture when he’s twelve.
226) Sasuke continues to question his training.
227) This is the first time I’ve seen this page translated in a way I can understand.
228) First Stage of the Rasengan: With tree-climbing, the shinobi learn how to focus a specific amount of chakra within a particular part of their body, water-walking teaches the ninja how to emit a tiny amount of chakra to stay on an unstable surface, for the Rasengan -however, the user needs to learn how to create a stream of chakra (rotation), meaning, they have to release a specific amount of chakra (water-walking) in a particular portion of the body (tree climbing) and have it moving continuously: rotating. It explains how chakra energies are unconsciously swirled, and how the Rasengan needs the user to be capable of swirling the chakra in different directions. Naruto isn’t capable of doing this with just one hand.229) We need to give it to Kishimoto, Naruto here is trying to get close to Jiraiya not as a student, but in a more profound manner, Naruto still shows signs of wanting to bond with someone parentally -this part of him hasn’t been fixed solely by creating bonds with people his age, he even hides his feelings after he gets admonished by Jiraya. This is great writing on Kishi’s part.
