I think I understand why Gabriel is my least favorite. I hate-

-wishy washy characters. Like atleast the assholes are just like yeah im horny for you, but you know im an asshole.

Gabriel just came out of nowhere, fast hookup, and he went from like quiet mystery, to asshole, to jealous and kind? Like no, I understand we saw his POV and he is conflicted about remaining a lone nomad but IDK. Like atleast own being an asshole. Don't come back and act like everything is peachy, as if its normal that you're trying to embrace the bond all of a sudden.

He was so upfront and transparent about the bond existing so why not just continue to be transparent about where you want this to go?

And why do the males always feel soulmates stronger/sooner than the female in fantasy books? PLOT
