#rc redesign

Alright people, this is really delayed but I bring you my first “major” li redesign (as Malbonte doesn’t appear until season three) which is none other than Mimi!!

I gave her a bit more melanin from her dad and overall leaned into the “spoiled but not rotten” trope. She’s a lust demon after her mother (duh) and overall takes after her character-wise.

She doesn’t have any major trauma which makes her the only mentally stable character with two functional parents in the whole game yay!

I made her side against Malbonte cause I feel that despite her disgust with the system she’s not that eager to actually contribute to a potential uprising, especially after what happened to Sammy — she just can’t forgive nor forget that.

I initially wanted to make her a lesbian but since I want to have a male mc in my au as well it would make the romance accessibility unstable in the women’s favour with the straight male LIs (though I do backtrack on straight Malbonte he’s unlabelled but willing to fuck anyone he’s from the gayest time in history ffs)

I have redesigned her in the past so I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted to go for.

This mf.

Andy was a very religious man coming from a small immigrant family in Canada, his father was born in Mexico where he met Andy’s mother. She passed during labour and mr. Gutiérez moved to Canada shortly after.

When Andy grew up he appreciated his dad a TON, they eventually got out of poverty as well and Andy could pick up base jumping, as it made him feel closer to god.

When he died and found out that the bible lied, he was shattered. He hated demons with his entire being and saw them as monsters, and he put angels (especially Sammy) on a little bit of a pedestal.

This led to immortals not liking him all that much, so he mainly stuck around other unclaimed. At the day of the dead on earth, he’s understandably sad cause he has a connection to Mexico specifically. Lucifer notices (for once) and they start talking.

Lucifer: You seem more depressing than usual, unclaimed.

Andrés: Yeah? You come to gloat, pendejo? Feed on my suffering like your kind does?

Lucifer: Do you even hear yourself? Despite what you believe, I don’t spend my every waking moment trying to make your life miserable, you know? I’m not a character from that silly book of yours and I don’t care for your existence.

Andrés: 👁️👄👁️

This conversation gives Andy new perspective on demons and he gradually grows to tolerate them more, that’s when he starts training with Geralt and gains more confidence. And when it’s time he joins a side, he’s surprised with a red glow as hell welcomes him with open arms :)

EDIT: his fashion post-glowup is obv not steampunk anymore, but I’m too lazy to change it rn

Just as I promised, I bring you hs redesigns starting with…

I kind of had a pretty clear idea of where I wanna take his design and he got a pretty drastic makeover lol

In my mind each demon is born under one of the seven deadly sins, it’s usually genetic but not necessarily (for example Satan and Lilith being wrath demons and Lucifer being born under pride). They can either suppress or embrace their sin and if they embrace it they gain horns.

Anyways lmk who I should tackle next!
