Since my plans for debuting new cosplays fell through, Saturday’s costume at RCCC ‘22 was my trusty old FNAF2 night guard cosplay, complete with the Freddy mask.
Interesting how I got far more people calling me ‘Michael’ as soon as I stepped on the show floor rather than ‘William’ this year. 🤔 The costume’s concept predates Michael or William as characters & hasn’t changed since then (even if I have lol), so I ended up going with more Michael vibes in my photos this con.
Michael greeting the viewer to the afterlife? I dunno, but the afternoon sun coming from the massive convention center windows offered such a nice backlight. Of course, my tradition of getting pizza while cosplaying FNAF was upheld. “Awful luck, I’m afraid. Nothing but pizza here. At least it’s better than what we used to make…”
The PNW R2 Builders & Star Wars Oregon always set up great photo ops with working droids! “Robots. Why did it have to be ROBOTS?!”
