The streets of Vale always seemed strange to Weiss. Growing up in the militarized Atlas, the much more relaxed and cheerful Vale was a stark contrast. Hand locked with Ruby’s she took a moment to take in the sights before turning to the younger girl.

“So, Ruby, where would you like to go?” she asked cheerfully. It wasn’t often that they got to have traditional dates. The closest they usually got was studying or training together, so no that they had an entire afternoon free to spend with each other, Weiss was determined to make the most of it.

“oh shit... Uncle qrow don’t take apart my sweetheart! Even if she’s a different Ruby’s treat her with care.”

  11 AM. Velvet sighed as she looked at the clock on the library wall. She had been there since 11 PM the day prior. She had dark circles under her eyes, her hair was frizzled and a mess, and she just looked dead tired. She had three reports due the day after next, and she was just now finishing the first one. Normally, she would have had all these reports done weeks ago, but she spent so much time helping the rest of her team finish their reports (not to mention a sudden away mission that chewed a week out of her time) that she had to cram it all into a few days.

  The library table in front of her was a mess with books strewn about the whole table, some open, some closed, one on the floor, another propped up like a little barrier. She reached for her remnants of her coffee and downed the rest, grumbling silently to herself as she began writing again - something about the effects that Grimm have on wildlife in the wilderness of Remnant.  Another twenty minutes passed as she wrote, then suddenly a gust of wind pushed passed her, flipping nearly all the pages of the books on the table, rendering nearly every page she had open useless now that she had lost all her places. A silent cuss escaped the rabbit's lips, which was very rare for the girl, and she stood up to find the offending open window. What she found out, however, was that it wasn't an opened window, but a red blur, flying through the library bookshelves, taking this book and that, stopping here and there very briefly to greet someone who was lost among the myriad of books. It was Ruby.  Another blur of red passed by Velvet, and out of sheer luck, she reached out as quick as she could and caught the girl by the hood of her cape. "Ruby!" She said quietly, so to not bother anyone else in the library. "What are you doing? You know you can't just run around like that in here." Her voice, though quiet, was full of surprise and stress - if Ruby listened hard enough she could hear how tired Velvet was just by the slight perturbation in her words.

@rcdcaped is one of my favorite Ruby roleplayers! I’m pretty sure that Snow is a real life Ruby. She’s very sweet and I love talking to her! If you aren’t following her, you’re missing out!!
