Can you do a story where the reader has been in the avengers cast since the beginning and she starts heavily crying at the endgame premier in LA. I would like rdj to platonicaly comfort her like father daughter relationship
we don’t usually do rpf tbh but since this one got me right in the feels….
you learn a lot about waterproof makeup during the endgame press tour. every day is another trial in the search for the perfect black mascara to give full, long lashes… and last through one of your crying fits.
luckily, the cast is as supportive as they always have been. you were new to los angeles when they cast you in your first marvel movie, young and fresh, and from your first time on set, you were adopted into the marvel family without a second thought. acting with such a large and talented crew had its challenges, but so many rewards.
The energy at the premier was incredibly bittersweet. Your friends surrounded you, and to feel their warmth and support was amazing. But it was equally as heartbreaking, knowing that you’d never be together the same way again.
Your eyes flooded with tears again, not for the first time today, when you caught up to the rest of the cast on the red carpet. The lights were flashing, the sounds of dozens of photographers and hundreds of fans cheering filling the air.
You felt someone approach behind you, turned to find Jeremy a few steps back. He placed a hand on your back and grinning wildly at you. “You look gorgeous, dear. Don’t cry. Just breathe, try to enjoy it.”
You did your best for the cameras, performing in funny poses with the other cast members. But finally you were herded towards the theater’s front doors, with everyone murmuring that the film would start soon.
You couldn’t even try to hold back the floor of tears now. They streamed down your face, and you were sure they ruined your makeup, but you didn’t care anymore. How could you not cry, when everything was changing? When your never again get to experience this thing that was such an essential part of you?
Everyone else passed you on their way to the entrance. Evans has clearly been crying, though he was still laughing at something as he hugged you. Mark kissed your cheek, and Hemsworth grabbed your hand for a reluctant twirl. Scarlett even looked a bit teary when she reached you, and the photos would show her squeezing your hand and looking very proud of you.
But it was Robert, man who started it all, that really broke you. He was clearly enjoying the limelight as always, in an impeccable suit with his signature glasses. He grabbed your hand first, then pulled you into a hug. “You look so beautiful, sweetheart. No no no, don’t get me started now.” He wipes your tears from your cheeks, kissed your forehead. “Only happy tears, right? It’s okay, it’s okay.” His voice was lowered, from being clearly audible to everyone to where only you could here. “It’ll be okay. I’m so proud of you. You’re wonderful.”
“Now let’s see this thing. I hear I’m great in it.”
