Re plus is freaking amazing!!!
Number 2 - re:plus
Album Title - Everlasting Truth
Track Title - White Avenue
re:plus stands as one of my favorite producers, period. While certainly most of the beats don't fall under the category of Jazzhop, I am bending the rules as re:plus has done some work in the jazzier realm as well. What really matters here though is just how wonderful the beats he produces truly are. While re:plus may not have the dynamic range than an artist like Kenichiro Nishihara and SoulChef may have, it seems every track you listen to has the ability to just lift your spirit to a higher level and bring an amazing feeling of relaxation that's almost unmatched by any other producer out there right now. For that level of consistency and emotion I put re:plus at number 2 on this list. The track above, White Avenue, is one of my favorite instrumental tracks right now and always wonderful when I'm either feeling down or really just need to relax.
