Re: the tomato plant incident
Because a couple of people on other social media wanted to tell me tomatoes aren't toxic, He didn't eat a tomato, he ate the entire plant...the stem, and leaves of an entire (too little to even have blossoms yet, much less fruit) plant. Ripe tomatoes, as far as I know are A-OK for dogs. (ask your vet though if you’re not sure, I’m certainly no expert) It’s the green bits that’ll make them sick. :) Of course there are exceptions to every rule, so your mileage may vary.
I just wanted people to be aware, in case they weren't, that if their dogs are goats like mine, and they gobble their tomato plants, they might want to keep an eye on them, and maybe seek advice from a veterinarian. Maybe not all dogs would have a reaction, I don’t know, but I do know what happened to mine, and I wouldn't wish the worry on anyone else. :D
