If you can't or won't act with kindness, then by all means... STOP and rethink your actions and motives. You are in the wrong no matter what you think.
Rise above your current emotional state and ACT with kindness rather than REACTING with emotion... Do this not for their sake, for YOUR sake. Because YOU are better than emotional reactions "just because you can".
Do... or do not, there is no try!
Learn from these misguided emotional reactions or you are destined to repeat the lesson as many times as it takes. Life has a strange and funny habit of teaching us by repetition until we get it AND put it into practice.
It's called SELF-CONTROL!
