The Pond’s Comment Bingo - May 2026

Every other month, we host a Comment Bingo in our Discord server, exclusive to Pond members only!

Comment Bingo Rules and How it Works

Comments uplift and inspire authors while letting them know exactly how much all their hard work means to us! In this event the Pond really wants to encourage our readers to interact with our wonderful writers by leaving meaningful comments on their work. The Pond’s Comment Bingo’s purpose is to give our writers a smile and help readers get into the habit of commenting on Supernatural fanfiction no matter what platform they are posted on. So get your fingers ready to type some compliments and show our writers how much we appreciate them and the stories they share. 

Participants must be members of the Pond.

Bingo rounds will last a month, with a month between each round.

Comments must be left on Supernatural fanfic that match the current round's bingo card. Each story can be used to fill one square.

Comments should be positive and story-focused. They can be short and uplifting, or a detailed love fest.

In order to be eligible for prizes, participants must submit their comments - forming a bingo line - via this form.

 Each submission gives the participants a special role in the Pond's server: Koi Fish.

If someone completes more than one bingo they can have multiple entries into the Bingo Drawing with the max of 4 entries per person. Every submission grants participants a drawing entry, for a maximum of four submissions.

There are three winners for every round. Each winner can request a prize from the Pond’s prize list. 

When does the Comment Bingo start? 

The Comment Bingo will start on the first of the month and end on the last day.

The first month of Comment Bingo starts May 1, 2026 12 am EST and ends May 31, 2026 at midnight EST

When is the drawing held?

The drawing will be held within a week after the round ends, please check the discord calendar when the round ends.

Tell the author how the end made you feel, did it leave you content? Frustrated but wanting for more? Scared?

Week Four Reader Activity:

Every writer faces hurdles and every writer does a little dance when they get over that big block. They celebrate the small wins and stress the little things.

Pick your favourite writer(s)'s brain and ask them about a specific piece: what are you most proud of in this story? What was the biggest obstacle you face in writing this story? Feel free poke a bit deeper.

Don’t forget to send a little appreciation and tell the writer(s) how much you enjoyed their work.

Have a look at our sign up list and share three or more works from a fellow author. It's always nice to gossip at sleepover, so be sure to leave some thoughts before you hit reblog!

Tell the author what you think will happen next or even what you hope will happen next.

How did you think of that? No, really, you’re so creative! Hit up your favourite writer(s) and ask them how they came up with the idea for a piece of writing.

Don’t forget to send a little appreciation and tell the writer(s) how much you enjoyed their work.

What if? It’s always fun to imagine things a bit different. We all love a good AU, so why don’t you send your favourite writer(s) and ask and challenge them to imagine their fics a bit different.

If they hadn’t written this fic with that character, who else would fit into that story? What if they had written that fic in this AU? Or with that trope?

Don’t forget to send a little appreciation and tell the writer(s) how much you enjoyed their work.
