Clarke quickly approached your joined tent, hoping you were there. When she only saw Lexa and Madi, her heart sank.
Lexa could see the distress on Clarke's face as she neared the tent. What had happened, and where were you?
"Clarke, hodness. What happened?" It was hard for Lexa not to run to her distressed wife, but Lexa had an image to uphold in unfriendly territory. When Clarke was inside the safety of their tent, she couldn't hold back any longer, so she pulled Clarke close to her with the arm that wasn't holding Madi. Clarke couldn't stop her tears when she felt Lexa pull her closer, missing you.
"Lexa, I did something stupid." Clarke sobbed into Lexa's shoulder.
"It's okay, Clarke, I have you. Whatever happened, I'm sure we can talk about it." Lexa tried to reassure her wife. The three of you had had your arguments before, and they were usually resolved quickly.
"no, Lexa! You don't understand. I have never seen (Y/N) look at me like that."
"Clarke, sweetheart. Tell me what happened from the beginning. Cause you aren't making any sense." Lexa said while leading Clarke toward a chair so she could sit.
Madi immediately hugged Clarke the moment she sat down.
"hugs, mommy. Mama says hugs make everything better." Madi looked up at Clarke with a toothy smile. Clarke managed to give a tear-filled smile back. You had been right. Had anyone else caused this commotion, Clarke wouldn't have thought twice about your reaction.
After a couple of deep breaths, Clarke got her breathing under control. She hugged Madi tightly.
Lexa, who had watched Clarke run through all the emotions, sat beside her wife as Clarke told her story through hiccups and tears. Lexa listened. It wasn't Lexa's place to choose a side. She just wanted everybody to be safe at home again.
Lexa suggested giving you some time. That way, both you and Clarke could calm down. So when you return, both of you can have a calm conversation. If there was one thing Lexa knew for certain, you loved her and Clarke.
Madi, who hadn't understood the conversation her mothers had been having, just sat there. The thing Madi did understand was that her mommy was sad and that her mama was gone. Seeing her mommy so sad made Madi want to do something about it. Maybe if she found you, you could come and give Mommy your hugs. They always made her feel better.
Sneaking outside, Madi immediately went to the three who would help her. Winter, Rain and Wood were close to the tent and got up when they noticed Madi approaching them. For them, Madi was the pack's pup and needed protection.
"We have to find mama. Mommy sad." Madi walked into the woods, surrounded by the three dire wolves. The wolves immediately tried to locate the scent of their master and started to lead Madi in that direction.
You had cooled off a little after your argument with your wife. You weren't able to go back to the tent just yet. So, you sat on a log and reviewed your emotions and thoughts. You Weren't mad at Clarke. Your feelings got the best of you after a hard couple of days. You also knew Clarke was under much stress, and your clashes with Bellamy weren't helping.
Sitting there for a few minutes, you notice someone approaching you. You ready yourself for whatever it is that comes through the clearing.
"Madi?" Hearing your voice, Madi ran toward you and flung herself at you.
"mama! Found you." You looked her over for any injury she could have gotten while walking through the woods. When you didn't see anything, you looked her in the eyes.
"what are you doing here? Do Mommy or nomon know you are here?" you knew the answer already. No way would your wives let Madi walk through the woods alone. Madi, however, seemed to be concerned about other things.
"mama! Mommy, sad. Sorry. Needs you." Madi wiggled herself out of your hold and pulled you toward the camp. When you didn't follow, Madi looked up at you with a pretty impressive glare. Clarke would be so proud.
"mama! Mommy cried." That did break your heart. Lexa nor Clarke cried easily. Meaning she must be feeling pretty big emotions.
Sucking up your feelings, you pick Madi up and start walking toward the rest of your family.
When Clarke spotted you walking toward her, she flings herself at you. She was starting to apologize profusely. You let her ramble for a moment while holding her close.
"It's okay, Clarke. We were both at fault. I shouldn't have let my temper get the best of me and should also have considered your feelings. I get more territorial around certain Skaikru." You kissed Clarke on the forehead before kissing her on the lips.
You feel her sag against you and hold her closer. Out of the corner of your eyes, you spot Lexa smiling. Reaching out for her, Lexa picks up Madi and joins the embrace.
"I love the three of you so much." You confess. Having this rare moment of vulnerability reserved for your family.
You and Clarke eat dinner before taking a quick bath and turning in for the night. Agreeing that you would be taking a more back-seated role in the negotiations, limiting your contact with the Skaikru. Your best warriors would still shadow Lexa and Clarke. That was the only condition you had.
You are a mutant that Logan has taken under his wing. Your powers are mimicking and fast healing like Deadpool level. He ends up taking you to New York in the middle of a pretty intense fight with aliens. After showing how badass you are, someone catches your eye.
Now, you guys can pick who catches your eye, ig, you can even pick Logan lol. I just couldn’t stop thinking about this idea in the shower so I thought I’d post it. THIS WILL NOT REPLACE FLOWER GIRL IF YOU CHOOSE LOKI BECAUSE I STILL LOVE THAT STORY BUT I ALSO WANNA KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK OF THIS ONE
Author note: First I want to apologize it took so long for me to post the next chapter for lone wolf. After that, I want to thank everyone who has sent me comments and kudos for my writing. I haven’t forgotten this story, writing has just been difficult the last couple of months.
previous chapters: part 1- part 2- part 3- part 4- part 5- part 6- part 7- part 8 - part 9- part 10
“What! Gives you the right to touch my daughter!” you were livid. How dare this boy touch your daughter. Madi in general had a hard time with being touched. The only people who were allowed to touch her freely, were you, Lexa, Clarke and Anya. From time to time Indra, but that was only when Madi instigates it.
So who did this piece of shit think he was for giving Madi a panic attack.
At this point, you were really starting to regret coming to the Skaikru. Would Clarke be really upset if you cut this guy's throat? Probably. Pushing aside the murderous intent you were feeling you turned toward Madi who was still protected by Dina. Madi who was still sobbing uncontrollably.
You throw the sword in your hand to the side and crouch down so you are at eye level with your daughter. Dina steps away from the two of you and keeps the rest away.
When Madi spots you through tear-filled eyes, she looks you straight in the eyes but doesn’t move to get closer to you.
“hey, peanut.” You say in a voice you only reserve for your daughter. The little girl is so attuned to the sound that she is already calming down.
“Mama?”
“Yes baby, it is Mama. Are you feeling big emotions?” you knew she was but this made it easier for Madi to work through it. Madi gave you a small nod.
“is the feeling going away?” most of the time the emotions Madi was feeling would pass on their own. When Madi shook her head, you gave her a reassuring smile.
“that is okay. I am here and we are getting through this together. Can I touch you?” with speed almost too fast for a human, Madi was in your arms. She pressed her head against your chest to feel your steady heartbeat. The sound helped in calming her down.
“alright baby, can you tell me five things you see?” your voice is just about a whisper but Madi could hear you just fine.
Clarke and Lexa were wrapping up their meeting. Things had gone smoother than hoped and resulted in the two being able to meet (Y/N) and Madi for lunch. Clarke was putting away the last of the documents when one of the guards sprinted into the tent. The markings on their arms told them that they were on (Y/N) personal guard.
Lexa was aware of the guards (Y/N) had put on both her and Clarke.
“Heda! Permission to speak.” The guard asked. Like all your subordinates they had discipline.
“speak soldier,” Lexa said in her heda voice.
“Heda, Wanheda, both of you are needed at the training grounds. One of the Skaikru boys tried to touch the princess. Causing her to have a panic attack and the general to lash out at the boy. Some of the females with the boy are afraid of an escalation.” The guard spoke so fast that Clarke and Lexa almost didn’t catch all of it.
The moment Clarke heard Madi was involved she started walking toward the training ground, not listening to Lexa who was calling after her.
Lexa took a moment to collect herself and thanked the guard, before going after her wife-turned-mamabear. She already felled sorry for whoever stood in her way.
Clarke was at the training grounds in no time. There she saw the Gona from a circle around you, Raven, Octavia, Lincoln and Bellamy. Dina was standing close to you ready to react to any situation.
You were cradling Madi to your chest, trying to console the sobbing toddler.
Madi didn’t seem to be injured, neither did you. Bellamy on the other hand was sporting a big red line around his neck. Steeling herself Clarke stepped forward to make her presence known.
Bellamy was the first to approach her, like a kid rating out somebody to the teacher. You however stayed where you were, cuddling Madi close to your chest.
Instead of listening to Bellamy rambling Clarke made her way toward you and Madi. Laying a comforting hand on Madi’s back.
“Maid sweetheart, look who is here.” You whisper in your daughter's ear. Locking eyes with Clarke, conveying that it was a bad one.
Very slowly Madi lifted her head from your shoulder and looked behind her. When she spotted her mommy, she started reaching out for her and you quickly handed her over to Clarke so she could soak in her mommy’s scent. The toddler sagged into the blond's hold immediately.
For some reason, Clarke’s and Lexa’s scents had always a calming effect on you and Madi.
“hey love, somebody told me you were cuddling with Mama. Mind if I join?” Clarke spoke in a tender tone, to not set Madi off again. That had happened in the past when she was overwhelmed too soon.
“Mama helped. Big emotions. Counted. Calmed.” Madi’s sentences were cut short, telling Clarke she hadn’t down completely.
“oh! You and Mama did the counting. Did it help?” Clarke was relieved when Madi nodded into her chest.
While Clarke was talking to Madi you had positioned yourself in front of them with crossed arms and a death stare levelling Bellamy, who was trying to get closer.
“what made you feel the big emotions? Can you tell Mommy?”
“Man touched me,” Madi said burring her face back into Clarke’s chest.
“what man sweety?” Clarke Cöed as to not set her off again. without looking Madi pointed a finger toward Bellamy, who was trying to push past (Y/N). (Y/N) however, wasn’t bunching an inch. In the meantime, Raven and Octavia tried to pull Bellamy back.
“let me pass! I have to talk to Clarke.” He tried to sound intimidating, hoping you would let him pass.
“you upset my daughter, do you really think I’m just going to let you near her? No way in hell! If Clarke wants to talk to you she will come over here. Until then back off!” your voice was nothing more than a growl.
Clarke really had hoped Bellamy wasn’t involved. You already didn’t like him and this wasn’t helping. She could only hope to settle your mood before things escalated.
Clarke still remembered the last time somebody touched Madi without permission. It was a warrior from Azgeda. He had quickly lost his hand and head. Then she hadn’t batted an eye at it. She hoped it didn’t turn into a brawl. You would level Bellamy with no problem, the only question was when you would stop once you started.
Clarke walked with Madi still clinging to her chest but stayed a couple of feet behind. Hoping this was enough distance for Madi. You immediately sensed Clarke come up behind you, turning partly around so you can look at her and Madi, still preventing Bellamy from getting closer.
Clarke knew her next words would be hard for their friends but she had to think about her daughter and wife first. She could talk to her friends later, but first, she had to defuse the situation.
“I think all of you should return to camp until things have calmed down,” Clarke said while looking at her friends. Raven and Octavia seemed to understand, Lincoln respected the words of his kwin. They also knew that if they stayed longer and Bellamy did something stupid, they would be putting Clarke on the spot.
Bellamy however started immediately pushing against you to get to Clarke.
“Clarke! Please listen to me. I didn’t mean to do this.”
“Back off!” you got into the shaggy-haired boy's face and pushed him back.
“you come here, make my daughter cry and now you dare to make demands toward our kwin. I should skin you alive for that.” This finally makes Bellamy back down with a loud gulp.
“General!” there was an edge to Clarke’s voice that told you you were getting onto thin ice. It made you back down just a little. The last thing you wanted to do was upset your wife.
“we will leave for now,” Raven said, pulling Bellamy back toward the camp. Leaving you and your family as the only ones in the training ground. The gona had scattered already, knowing nothing good came from upsetting their kwin when she was in mama-bear mode.
Lexa arrived at the exact moment the Skaikru left. You had turned around to look at Clarke. The blond looked anything but happy. Believing it to be best for you and Clarke to talk about whatever the issue was. So Lexa took Madi from Clarke's arms and retreated toward the tent.
“let’s go Madi. Mommy and Mama need to talk.”
“mad?” Madi asked.
“don’t know bug. Why don’t we go find something to eat and wait for them?”
“What the hell is wrong with you? You could have taken Bellamy’s head off today.” Clarke exploded the moment Madi and Lexa were gone. Now that everything had sunken in, Clarke had gotten angry with you.
Her reaction made your anger surface again. why was she angry with you?
“He upset Madi. I just reacted on instinct.” You say between clenched teeth, not wanting to snap at Clarke.
“That was an over-the-top reaction. Bellamy didn’t know Madi would react like that.” Clarke counters, while stepping close to you. Like she wanted another response from you. At this point, you had a hard time not glaring at your wife.
“If it had been anybody else but that Skaikru boy we wouldn’t be having this conversation.”
“ you went too far. You acted like a sa…” Clarke seemed to catch herself at the last moment, but you knew what she was going to say. You had heard it often enough. The dark part in you that you had suppressed for so long reared its ugly head and you could feel your emotions freeze.
Looming over Clarke you glared at her.
“say it.” A moment passed and it stayed quiet.
“say it!” the ringing of your voice surprised Clarke. She had never seen you like this.
“Savage.” The word was nothing more than a whisper but you could hear her loud and clear. Did your wife really think of you like that? You could stand for everybody else thinking you were a monster but not your family.
“maybe Clarke I am nothing more than a savage beast, pretending to be something else.” With that, you walked away and into the woods, leaving Clarke alone.
The moment you left a pang rang through Clarke. What had she done, she had never seen you so cold toward her before.
When Clarke finally turned around she, you were gone.
Natasha and Bucky were left behind dump founded. First, they thought they were going to have to fight but when they found you, you were completely out of it. Then the speedster appeared and took you away within seconds of arriving in the control room, not before taking a drop f their blood. Why would you need that?
“am I the only one confused by that?” Bucky asked. Recovering from her frozen state Natasha walked over to the computer, hoping something was useful was left behind.
“you are not the only one.” She tells Bucky while skimping over the file that was left open, in your hast to get away you had forgotten about the computer. Natasha figured it had something to do with your shocked state. Reading through it she could understand your reaction.
“Bucky I think you’re going to want to read this.” Natasha muttered after reading the whole file. She almost couldn’t phantom the content herself as she waited for Bucky to read the file. The emotions on his face changed when he read through it.
“Natasha, does this mean that she is our…” Bucky couldn’t even finish his sentence, the word sounding so foreign for him but Natasha understood what he wanted to say.
“I don’t know Bucky. I do want to know the answer though. For Stark’s sake, I hope he has the results from that DNA when we get back.” Natasha hissed, being mad at herself. How could she not know she had a child? Not only that but a child with Bucky. HYDRA had done some crazy things but creating a child for the sole purpose of being a weapon they could use for evil took everything they had ever done and multiplied it by ten.
“come on, let’s go back to the tower and start figuring this out.” Bucky whispered in Natasha’s ear, slinging his human arm around her. Even though she would never admit it he knew she could use the comfort right now. Whole her adult life Natasha never thought she would have a legitimate child of her own after the Red Room and then suddenly learning you had a possible child somewhere would put everyone psyche to the test.
When the files were put on USB they left the abandoned compound, intend on finding more answers back home and looking for a way to find you.
You wanted answers and the only place you knew that could give you them was Wakanda. If anybody could amylase those samples fast it would be Shuri, you also knew she wouldn’t lie to you. That is why you immediately set course for Wakanda.
Wanda stayed close to you the whole flight, Pietro in the meantime informed Zrinka the three of you would be away from a little longer than planned.
“talk to me Lubjeve.” Wanda whispered against your collarbone, cuddling into you to give you the most affection without scaring you. She was afraid if she talked to load she would scare you again. She didn’t like how stiff you had gone the longer the flight took.
You got lost in your mind was not an ideal situation for anybody right now.
“I don’t know what to say. I don’t even know what to think right now.” You confess, gaze never wavering from the spot on the wall you had been fixated on for the past hour.
“then tell what you do know, maybe I can help and putting everything in perspective and help you deal with it.” Wanda knew that sometimes you needed some time to put all your thoughts to move through it.
“I want to believe it you know. It’s the most I have ever found about me before the ghost’s experiments. But accepting that means I also have to accept who they list as my parents and I don’t know if I can deal with that.” The words coming out of your mouth didn’t seem to stop the moment you started. Wanda has always been good at making you confront your thoughts and feelings and not letting you bottle them up.
“what does the file say who your parents are?” Wanda asks taking your mind temporarily from your conflict.
“The file says I was created by combining the DNA of the Winter Soldier and The Black Widow” you let the information hang in the air for a bit, both with yourself and with Wanda. Wanda seemed to be faster to accept it than you were.
“Okay that is a lot to take in but would it be so bad of an outcome? At some level, I can see it.” Wanda commented, making you gawk at her, how could she be so okay with this so fast.
“We know they were once a part of HYDRA before they joined the Avengers, they were their strongest assets before deflecting. So it only seems normal that they are your parents to create this beautiful person in front of me.” Wanda smiles sweetly while stroking your cheek. You couldn’t resist the urge to kiss her.
“you are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I don’t know what I would do without you.” You whisper against her lips before kissing her again.
The moment is broken however when Pietro announces that the jet is about to land at the palace and that T’challa and Shuri are waiting.
“come on, let’s get some answers so when can put your mind at ease and we can figure out what to do next.” Wanda says squeezing your knee, getting up and pulling you up with her. You slump into her, taking in her scent to help calm you down. You wanted to know and you didn’t want to know at the same time.
Before the door opened you put on a neutral face, you may have a good relationship with the royal family of Wakanda, T’challa didn’t have the best relationship with the Winter Soldier after he killed the former king. Things could get awkward when Bucky Barnes turned out to be our father.
Walking of the bridge you were immediately greeted by Shuri, T’challa and their mother.
When Shuri saw the three of you she squealed and ran toward Wanda and pulled her into a tight hug.
“Wanda, Pietro, (Y/N) I’m so glad to see all of you again. That last batch of Vibranium was the last one missing and we have everything back now.” Shuri kept on talking in the same upbeat tone.
You didn’t dislike Shuri, you quite liked her but her upbeat mood was exhausting and you just couldn’t keep up with her for very long because she gave you a headache after a while. Wanda liked to talk to Shuri, she doesn’t have the chance to speak with girls around her age very often. So you liked to give her every opportunity she wanted to have.
Before you and Pietro were acknowledge again by the genius, T’challa and his mother had already left and the four of you were already back at the girl’s lap. She and Wanda were gossiping the entire time.
Pietro looked at you and smirked making kissy faces at you, trying to tell you how whipped you were for his sister. Knowing she is the only person I would let you tell what to was Wanda. You punched him in mock anger and soon the two of you were locked into a wrestling matching rolling around the floor.
Wanda and Shuri looked at the scene in front of them and Wanda couldn’t help but shake her head. She lived with children but she loved the both of you and wouldn’t change it for the world.
“Are they always like this?” Shuri asked Wanda as she looks at you and Pietro trading upper position every few moments. Giggling while she did.
“Unfortunately yes. I live with children.” Wanda said chuckling joining Shuri. This made you and Pietro look up, a little offended at her words.
“hey!” Pietro and you said at the same time, looking at the two girls with your best puppy dog eyes. Instead of summoning the sympathy the two of you wanted the two girls just laughed.
After composing yourself and hauling Pietro up you went down to business.
“So why have the three of you come here? None of you are known to make social visits, alto I hope you would do it more often. Life is so dull around here.” Shuri says after you settle down next to Wanda, Pietro loitering around.
“I have a favour to ask off you Shuri.” You say in a sincere tone, taking the two drops of blood samples out of your pocket and handing them over to the young genius.
“I would like you to run a DNA test on these drops of blood samples and compare them to mine.” Shuri immediately sobbers up, taking the samples from you and getting to work immediately. Leaving you and the twins to your own devices.
Natasha and Bucky were anxious to get back to the tower. Even after reading the file, Natasha’s head was filled with ‘what if's. after she had settled down with the Avengers and her and Bucky had entered into a serious relationship, she had wondered what life would have been having she not gone through the Red Room graduation.
She had never gotten her hopes up until she read your file.
There was a small possibility that she had a daughter, a daughter with Bucky. It was a thought she hadn’t placed yet, so she did what she did best. She buried her emotions until she had definitive evidence to prove or disprove them.
Bucky also didn’t know how to feel about the whole daughter thing but he had seen Natasha gone cold on the flight home. Instead of breaking his head over it, he decided to comfort Natasha until they had answers. Then he would see how he felled over all of this.
For now, he would look after Natasha by engulfing her in his embrace and pulling him closer into his chest.
“what are we going to do if this information is true?” Natasha's voice sounded gruff with unshed emotions.
“I don’t know Nat. let’s first test the DNA and go from there. If it’s real then we find her. I don’t think she knows herself, HYDRA isn’t big on sharing with their assets. Maybe if we talk to her we can convince them we like to get to know them.” Bucky spoke, even if he wasn’t sure of his own words he had hope.
After he had gotten his memories back, became an Avengers and started something with Natasha he wanted a family. Now that the opportunity presented itself it scared him.
The moment the couple arrived back at the tower and walked into the building, they were met by an excited Tony Stark.
“what the matter Stark. I’m not in the mood for long scientific explanations right now.” Natasha says, dragging a heavy hand over her face. Feeling the exhaustion of the last hours. Not noticing, or wanting to notice how agitated The Black Widow was tony dragged the two former assassins toward his lab.
There on his 3D monitor are 3 DNA strands projected. Natasha and Bucky take a seat around the projection as Tony takes one of his tablets and starts pushing in buttons.
“Why are we here Stark?” Bucky asked. This seemed to encourage Tony and she started talking.
“So after the two of you left, I and Bruce inspected the DNA we got from ‘The Captain’s ‘clothes. First, we compared it against every known database of SHIELD to see if they encountered her in the past before. We also observed the DNA itself, to see if it was modified and boy was it.” Tony rambled on, getting on Natasha’s nerves the more he talked.
“get to the point Stark.” Natasha cut him off and levelled him with one of her glares. That seemed to sober up the billionaire.
“right. So the databases didn’t match anything. Then I set it to anything lower than 100% comparison. We got two hits.” Bucky and Natasha held their breath as the answer they had been waiting for the whole journey home were about to be answered.
“it seems the match was with the two of you. So I guess you have a daughter, congratulations?” Tony says, making some kind of jazz hands.
“it seems the DNA you gave me matched you for 50% to Natasha and Bucky from the Avengers. So I guess you are related.” Shuri tells you. Letting you the breath you were holding, not knowing if you should be happy or not.
Summary: The Arkers get to seeing a diffrent side of you.
part 6
Autor note: there isn’t really happening much in this part but it is leading up to some things.
Like always thank you for reading and leave a comment to help me improve my writing.
"for you, I hope you only aim that gun at me because if I even suspect it is aimed at anybody else, I'm ripping your head off your shoulders." your eyes had gone cold, not holding any amusement she was feeling moments before. She wouldn't let any of her family get hurt.
Lexa watched as Finn pulled out a gun and pointed it at you. She could see your posture stiffen, all play was gone, and Lexa knew you would kill the boy if he ever seemed to be a threat. She hated to admit it, but at the moment, she could only watch.
The tiniest move could set him off and make him fire the gun. Lexa could also see her warriors around her stiffen, ready to react to her order.
Clarke held Madi close as the girl buried her face in her neck. You looked furious, and Clarke was pretty sure you were going to cut Finn's head off.
Everybody had tensed around her. Even the people who had cheered for Finn moments ago had gone quiet. Not even Raven came with a witty remark.
Your voice broke through the silence like a sharp knife
"for you, I hope you only aim that gun at me. If I even think you are aiming it at anybody, ells, I'm ripping your head off your shoulders before you can pull the trigger." You could see him trying to lift his gun, and at the small flicker of his wrist, you acted. He didn't even have a chance to react before you ripped the gun out of his hands, dismantled it and grabbed him by the neck with the other, his feet dangling off the ground.
He was clawing at your hand, trying to get free. You had to admit, it felled quite nice to see him struggle. It had been so long since you held the life of another in your hands. Feel them being helpless in your grip.
In a previous life, you wouldn't have hesitated to break his neck just like that, but something was stopping you. Where in the past, his death would have been sealed the moment he pointed the gun at you. Now, however, you played by different rules.
Lexa walked up next to you, looking at the boy still dangling from your hand. He was starting to turn blue.
"let him go," Lexa told you, and like that, you dropped the boy, and he fell to the ground gasping for air. When he finally seemed to regain some of his bearings, he glared at the two of you, but before he could speak, Lexa cut him off.
"Finn Kom Skaikru, by drawing your gun in an official battle against clans, you have broken one of our most sacred rules. A crime that is punishable by death." Lexa told him, speaking in her most cold Heda voice.
"The only thing that prevents me from letting my general finish what she was doing is that the Skaikru still doesn't belong to the Coalition. However, all of you have to oblige by the Kongeda laws." This time Lexa turned to Abby as she spoke.
"Chancellor, you maybe not be part of the Coalition yet, and your rules may differ from ours. This is a crime that cannot go unpunished. A fitting punishment should be admitted. Until you have come up with one, it had been seen as fitting by my general. He will stay under my guard's supervision in a secluded tent in the camp." Lexa was telling them that he would be caged in a tent until the Skaikru his punishment.
As the guard started lifting him, he seemed to regain his spirit and began hurling insults around like fresh air. By now, you had had enough of him. In a move that was just a tat quicker than a human, you snapped his wrist by crushing it in your hand.
"that is for insulting Heda in my presence. If your clan can't find a fitting punishment by tomorrow, he will go through the Trial Of The Woods, and I will oversee it personally." Your voice was loud enough that everybody could hear it before you walked away to cool down. If you had to look at his face any longer, you would kill him right then and there.
Clarke watched as you disappeared into the crowd after picking up the gun parts. The stiffness in your shoulders betrayed how agitated you were. So Clarke thought it would be wise to let you cool down for a moment. Clarke may have seen that Madi did not and wanted to go to you.
"Mommy, mama sad." Madi looked up at Clarke with big round eyes. She usually was good at calming you down, but Clarke wanted to wait for a moment so you could gather your thoughts.
"I know, love, but let mama rest for a little while, okay." Clarke tried to readjust Madi on her hip. She hoped Lexa would talk to you first. Madi gave a small nod cuddling further into Clarke, who noticed her daughter was shivering a little. As night was starting to fall, it was colder. Clarke draped your coat partly over Madi so she would warm up. It also still smelled like you, and Clarke hoped to help calm down her daughter.
After the small moment she got with her daughter, and the initial shock died down from the fight, Clarke's friends turned to her.
"well, that went down fast," Raven exclaimed, coming closer to Clarke.
"Yeah, I can't believe Finn would be so stupid as to pull a gun like that." Octavia added, also coming closer. When both girls were close enough that they could be semi-private. Clarke could see they had questions. She also saw her mother linger in the back.
"Alright, ask away. I can see the questions burning in your minds." Abby seemed to grab her chance and came closer. Her question, however, became stuck when she watched Clarke with Madi. Abby had so many questions.
"how?" was the only thing she could bring out. Clarke was slightly rocking Madi, who had snuggled further into the coat as she looked at her mother. Although it was a vague question, Clarke could guesses
"it’s a long story, actually, but the short version of it is that we found Madi together when she needed us the most, and we didn’t hesitate to take her in. Now she is our daughter, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.” It seemed that, for now, Abby accepted the story. Both mother and daughter knew that Abby now needed to be the leader of her people.
So Abby needed to get this whole Finn ordeal dealt with. She agreed that what the boy had done couldn’t go unpunished, and she rather would have him punished under Arkadia laws than Ground laws. To be quite frank, Abby still didn’t trust them completely, with them coming with a peace offering after so many years of radio silence, and who knew what their Kwin would demand. If she could make a peace offering with them, then she would have a major influence in the Coalition and with The Commander.
“What does The Commander wants us to do with Finn?” Clarke can still hear the distrust in her mother's voice. Clarke only hoped when the queen was revealed tonight and told what she planned to do, the Arkers would settle a little and hoped it wouldn’t backfire on her later.
Putting that thought aside, Clarke thought about the problem at hand. What he had done wasn’t a small offence. In grounder culture, he had trashed their honour, and her people wouldn’t blink when they would have executed him. She also knew her mother wouldn’t like it when you decided on his punishment, and she would only see the brutal savagery of it.
“Heda expects a punishment fitting for his crimes, nothing more, nothing less. Because you aren’t yet a part of the Coalition, she gave you a choice.” Clarke tried to bring over in not so many words that it was a unicum for Lexa to hand out this chance. Marcus seemed to catch on and pitched in before Abby.
“What punishment would he have gotten if Heda decided that was not death.” Marcus asked, taking on his role as advisor. Letting Finn go could start rumours of Lexa being weak, and that on its own could start a war.
“the lightest punishment she could give him was dead by a thousand cuts.” It came as quite a shock that that was the lightest punishment, and Lincoln even confirmed this for her. Clarke shot a glance at Raven. Throughout this all, she felled for her friend. Clarke knew deep down Raven cared for Finn, at least for the boy she learned on the dropship. The only other person who stayed calm beside Lincoln and Octavia was Marcus.
“does Heda also wants us to put him too dead?” Marcus looked Clarke right in the eyes.
“No, she doesn’t expect you to do that, and she only wants a fair punishment severe enough that the message comes through to all Arker’s.” a sense of relief washed over the 100.
“Though Heda isn’t the one I would be worrying about in with this one. Our general will be more adamant about going for the death sentence. (Y/N) is far more vigilant in this kind of thing. He put the lives of everyone she loved in danger by pulling that stunt; she wants justice.” Clarke knew how brutal you could be when the people you loved were in danger.
Lincoln was intrigued by you. In all his years with the Trikru, he had never seen or heard of you. But when standing there next to Heda, it was like you stood there all your life.
“What punishment would your general ask for?” Abby, who was finally able to get out of her stupor, asked.
“Our general would ask him to go through the trial of the forest. That means that he would be stripped to his undergarments, escorted into a remote part of the forest, and forced to survive for one day and one night. If they do this, their crimes are forgiven because the forest has spared them.” Clarke explained, and everybody seemed to think that was that bad of a punishment. At least you had a chance of survival. Clarke didn’t mention that nobody had come back alive before, that animals on those parts of the forest were in one way or another linked to you, and that the predators were your hunting mates and pets.
After that, Abby and Marcus decided to discuss this matter in private to come up with a fitting punishment. They also promised they would be back before the feast started. Wanted to meet this so-called Kwin and negotiate a peace treaty. Octavia and Raven got a certain glint in their eyes when they left. Clarke felt she would be cross-examined by them about her relationships with you and Lexa.
In the meantime, Madi, who had dozed off a little on her shoulder, started to wake up. Clarke thought now was maybe a good time to set Madi down so she could go and look for you. This would also give Raven and Octavia free range to surround her and fire their questions at her, but she would survive. The moment Madi’s foot touched the ground, she was off like a speeding bullet, and then the questions came that her best friends had bottled up.
“so tell us, Clarke, what is your relationship with Heda and this new general of her. I caught Madi calling her mama before.” Raven asked with a raise of her eyebrow, having a big smirk on her face.
“yes, Clarke explains.” Octavia had a matching smirk.
You had wandered off to a remote part of the camp, and there were only a couple of tents. Your anger was almost boiling over. How dare that boy pull a gun and potentially hurt your family. If he had been Trikru or any other clan, you would have cut him down on the spot. Even thinking about it made your claws want to spring free and slice something. In one lightning-fast move, you unsheathed your claws and cut through a large bolder like it was butter.
Breathing heavily, you looked at the destruction you had caused, not even that calming you down. It had been so long since you had felled the bloodlust, the urge to kill something. You had almost convinced yourself to go and hunt this rat down and do just that when you heard tiny footsteps approach, and just like that, the urge was gone, replaced by an even greater one. Sheathing your claws, you turn around just in time to catch your daughter, who had flung herself at you.
“Mama!” she immediately tossed her arms around you and buried her face in your neck.
“hey, Strike won (little one). Did you come looking for me?” You asked, kissing the side of her head and covering her with your arms to protect her from the night's breeze. Madi nodded but didn’t speak. That was okay with you. It had been a big day for such a little girl.
“want to go look at the festival and look for nomon. I bet nomon has some food for us already.” Again she nodded and rested her head on your shoulder. If anybody had ever told you that one person could turn you into mooch, you would have laughed at them before you killed them, but that was exactly what Madi had done. She was your Anker, with Clarke and Lexa, and you would protect them with your life.
You lowly started to make your way back into the camp and toward the feast. You were sure Clarke would like to do her big reveal before everybody started eating. Also, your ear picked up a very familiar sound in the air. Thank god you picked up that second bore while hunting.

Thanks in advance for reading.
Clarke and the rest of The 100 were walking out of Camp Jaha. You had gone ahead to prepare the sparring field for the match, and she thought it would be best to immediately go to the sparring field so everybody could find a spot for the match.
"Alright, Griffs, spill. What was that all about?" Raven asked. She and Octavia walked up next to Clarke. Octavia had exchanged a couple of theories with Lincoln on the way there, but non could not come up with how someone had climbed the grounder ladder, so to speak. What made it even weirder was that he had never heard of you, and one would expect to at least have heard of Heda's new general.
This also meant he couldn't predict how this match would go, but if you were as tough as Anya, then Finn didn't stand a chance.
"yeah, Clarkey. Lincoln told me you have to be crazy good and strong to even get noticed by Heda, and even that took years of being in her army." Octavia said.
"Just watch and see. I promise it won't be a boring match." Clarke chuckled. The two girls look at her in confusion.
"that tells us nothing," Raven exclaimed, but Clarke didn't say anything. Frustrating Raven and Octavia even more, the two knew better than to pressure Clarke, knowing how stubborn the girl could be.
The moment you got back to the temporary camp, you ordered a couple of guards to prepare the field for the match.
"What am I hearing about you fighting one of the Skaikru?" Turning around, you were met with Anya's deadpan stare and Lexa's razed eyebrow. You were far past the point where you could hold in your laughter, and you were as excited as a kid on Christmas day.
"oh, don't worry, Heda, that boy was all for the idea. Besides, I thought it would be a good idea to entertain the Skaikru before the feast, and it may convince them to join the feast." Lexa just shook her head without saying anything and went ahead with finishing the feast. She knew better than to indulge further in this conversation, which would lead to nothing, and Lexa knew when to pick her battles.
You were too stubborn to let your mind be changed about something like this. Enjoying a good too much.
When Lexa was out of earshot, Anya walked closer and gave you a pointed look.
"you are causing me more work." There was no malice behind her words, and for Anya, that was already a huge improvement, and you knew she was as excited as you to see the Skai-boy eat his words.
"you used the basic armour to your advantage, didn't you." She razed an eyebrow knowingly. She also knew you too good.
"mebi." (maybe) Anya just chuckled. You could have only pulled this off with the Skaikru. Any clan in the coalition knew too much of you to agree to a fight. You were known around the clans as being cold and ruthless. Especially toward those you didn't hold close to your heart. Anya also learned that you were just an overgrown puppy around Lexa, Madi and Clarke.
You saw the Skaikru come out of Camp Jaha little by little after Clarke had stepped outside with The 100. Walking over to the prepared training field when your senses picked up a familiar scent when a cart passed you. Anya looked at you, confused when you stopped dead in your tracks. Stopping the cart and walking to the back of it. You saw a little leg sticking out from under some furs.
"It seems we have a little stowaway that couldn't wait for tonight." You threw over your shoulder to Anya.
Grabbing the leg sticking out and lifting the little girl out of the cart.
Madi's face looked at you from its upside-down position.
"Well, hello, you little troublemaker." You can't help but smile at the little girl. She was the only one you were always soft with. Even Clark and Lexa had seen you frustrated with them and yelling at them.
Wood and River came running when they spotted Madi. They started jumping up at her and playfully nipping at her. Not even getting close to her to cause ant damage.
When Lexa walked away from you and Anya, she saw Clarke at the side of the sparring field with her friends. Lexa had to admit giving the Skaikru entertainment would at least bring them outside camp Jaha. Seeing Clarke as happy as this was also a good bonus. It was hard to not strut up to the blond and kiss her, but they hadn't dropped that bomb quite jet, so she had to restrain herself. Lexa knew you also had it hard with not touching them like you used to do.
The Skaikry tensed when they saw Lexa approach, especially Lincoln and Octavia. Everybody relaxed a bit when Lexa smiled in a warmer way than they were used to.
"welcome. I am very happy to have all of you here today and that you accepted our invitation." Lexa said, walking up behind Clarke. Being close to one another without touching and arousing suspicion.
"Clarkey said there was free food. You won't see me turning that down." Raven comes close to Lexa with a wide grin, smelling the air.
"fuck, that smells good." The grounders who heard Raven's bras words looked up for a second and then went back to work with a smile. They were used to it when working with Anya.
"Thank you for the invitation, Heda." Marcus said, giving Lexa a small bow, and Abby nodded in agreement. They had joined after word got around about the fight and wanted to be able to supervise the fight and intervene if necessary.
Lexa noticed Lincoln and Octavia staying in the background, which was another thing Lexa wanted to make right.
"Lincoln, Octavia, step closer, please." The two former Trikru warriors stepped forward, not meeting Heda's gaze.
"look at me, warriors," Lexa commanded, her voice softer than other times. When they met her eyes, she smiled at them.
"Lincoln and Octavia, before this feast can start and their real peace treaty can start, I would like to speak with the two of you." Lexa started.
"When I banished you, Lincoln, I saw love as a weakness, and you choosing your love for Octavia over your family was one of the first times in a long time I had seen what the power of love really could do. Over the years, I have come back to that mindset, as I have had the pleasure of knowing what love can do to somebody. Therefore Lincoln Kom Trikry and Octavia Kom Trikru, I would like to welcome you back to the Trikru clan and let you know all of your crimes are being forgiven. You can even pick up on your training if you would like." Lexa finished before giving both warriors a respected bow. Octavia and Lincoln thanked her and said they would be honoured to restart their training again.
After Lexa walked away and toward her warriors overlooking the field.
When Lexa was gone, Octavia turned to Clarke.
"you knew of this?!" The younger girl pointed an accusing finger at her friend, and Clarke just shrugged. Octavia hugged Clarke long.
"thank you! You have no idea what this means to Lincoln. To both of us." She whispered in Clarke's shoulder.
"I’m happy we could make the two of you happy.” Clarke hugged the younger girl back. They were interrupted when Raven slung her arms around Clarke and Octavia.
“look at the three of us back together.” Raven was grinning like a madwoman.
“So Clarke have anything special in store for little old me?” Raven poked Clarke in the ribs.
“maybe, you will just have to wait and see.” Clarke teased. Making the mechanic curious as to what it could be.
“Also, after the fight, I will introduce you and Lincoln to the new general in charge of training new warriors. Anya and they are sharing the responsibility, but I think you will like them more than Anya. She can be a bit brutal, and you will have to ask Lexa someday.”
A lot of the Skaikru had scattered around one side of the field, closest to Camp Jaha. A lot of grounders had gathered around the other side of the area.
“well, looks like we got a little stowaway.” The group's attention was called when your voice resonated over the field. You had a hanging girl upside down, with your wolves jumping at her. The girl didn’t look older than three.
Non of them registered the playfulness in your voice or that your wolves weren’t even trying to jump. They even looked a bit scared about what you would do to the little girl.
“Clarke? What is happening?” Abby looked at her daughter for an explanation. She still recalled how intimidating you had reacted to her and feared for the little girl's safety. Surely someone who responded so brutal as you wouldn’t have any good intentions with a child.
“it’s okay, mom, nothing is going to happen.” Clarke reassured. Knowing you were just playing.
“that doesn’t look like nothing, Clarke.” Bellamy’s voice hardened. Ready to jump on anything about you he didn’t like. Because quite frankly, he didn’t like you.
“it rather looks like she is going to feed that girl to her wolves.” Leave it to Raven to put a nice image in everybody’s mind. Their worries, however, were broken when the girl started giggling and attached herself to your neck for cuddles. You put your arms protectively around her.
They could just watch the stunt as you interacted with the girl quite lovingly. The moment was broken when Finn walked onto the field, followed by a bunch of teenage boys. His arteria looked a little different than when they last saw him.
“well looks like Finn has put on a lot more armour than before. You think he is getting scared.” Octavia asked as she watched Finn prepare. Basically just throwing his hand up in the air and screaming some nonsense.
Clarke thought it was funny. Finn had put on more armour while you, on the other hand, would probably take some off. When you fought, it was mostly in ripped jeans, a sports bra and a tank top. She didn’t say anything because she didn’t want to ruin the surprise, but the shit-eating grin on her face gave her away that something was about to happen.
“want to share something with us, princess?” Raven razed one of her eyebrows
“I would just say watch the match.” Clarke turned around so they no longer could see her face. She had decided to stay with The 100 during the match.
You walked toward Lexa, Madi still clinging to you. Lexa smiled when she saw you approach.
“hey, strik won (little one). I see you found mama, but I believe we promised to stay with our caretaker until we came and got you, didn’t we?” Lexa asked Madi. She never used her Heda voice with her daughter, but she and Clarke were the most stern when it came to her so.
“sorry, noman (mother). Missed mama.” Madi said, burrowing her face in your neck, and you rubbed her back in reassurance.
“Maid, look at me.” Lexa’s voice was a little sterner, but she just wanted to get her point over with Madi.
“no more running away from your caretakers, okay. It can be dangerous.” Lexa emphasized the word dangerous to make Madi understand.
“sorry. Love you nomon.” Madi whispered, looking up at Lexa.
“love you too, sweetheart. I just want to keep you safe.” Lexa gave Madi a kiss on the head that seemed to cure the little girl's down mood.
“okay, bug, want to go to mommy?” since Lexa was overseeing the match and you were in it, Madi couldn’t stay with the two of you, and you knew after seeing you she was giddy to see Clarke.
As you thought, she got excited fast.
“yes, yes, please, can I go to her now!” you and Lexa chuckled.
“Alright, alright. She is just over there at the edge of the field.” You say, pointing in Clarke’s direction.
“do you see her?” Madi vigorously nodded her head.
“yes.”
“good. Go across the field so we can see you, okay.” Lexa tells her as you put her on the ground.
“Okay.” With that, she was off like a speeding bullet. Giggling the whole way.
Just as she would get out of earshot, she turned back at you.
“good luck, mama. I know you are going to win.” With that, she started running again and started screaming for Clarke.
You found the hidden camera rather quickly. Making sure there weren’t other things you should take in consideration for your escape plan. After pacing around the room you couldn’t see anything that would make it harder for you.
what you did figure out was that your cell worked with motion detection. So it would be effortless for you to start the alarm and sneak out of the cell why they opened the door to check on what was happening.
Reflecting light wasn’t the only power you had. Born a mutant with the power of absorption meant you had a lot more up your sleeve than just that.
The way your powers worked depended on the person you used them on. When you touched a normal person you could feed off their life chi. If the person was a mutant or enhanced you could temporarily or permanently absorb their powers. It all depended on how much of their chi you absorbed. Your powers were one of the main reasons Hydra was so interested in you, that and for who your parents were.
You had never known who your parents were, they weren’t around when you were being raised by Hydra. The only thing you knew about them was that they were Hydra’s biggest assets and that they wanted to make you the first weapon of the new generation. However, you had escaped with the twins before they could start their training and they could brainwash you.
Giving yourself a pep talk and gathering your thoughts for a moment before you set your plan in motion. Looking right into the camera as you reflected the lights around you, making yourself invisible for the camera.
The moment the cameras couldn’t detect you anymore load alarms went off and a red flashlight started flickering to indicate which cell the alarm came from, drenching the whole room into a dark shadow.
It only took two minutes for the first agents to burst into your cell. Just before they could walk against the wall of your reflection you dropped it and pressed yourself against the wall of your cell that was clouded in shadows.
Using all your powers had a drawback, you could only use one at a time and it took a huge chunk out of your stamina.
While the agents were still going over your cell with a fine-tooth come, you are across the room hacking into the computer hanging on the wall, lucky for you it was linked to the whole SHIELD network so you could find your wait out more easily. It also told you that unlike the cell’s the vent system does have heat sensors, so you weren’t getting out that way.
You also found camera footage of your club. Stark was trying to restore the images, that is something you couldn’t let happen. If they did that they would see Wanda on those images and you be damped if you put her in danger. So you made the decision step fully out of the shadows to mess with the computer to make it look like the files had been lost and not that you had hacked it. Linking yourself to the SHIELD computers took more out of you than you would have thought. You were out of shape for using your powers back to back, Pietro would be laughing his ass off right now.
Not being able to slip back into the shadows you slip into a changing room you notice and hope you aren’t spotted. With all the agents looking for you, you hoped nobody came looking for you in here. Taking a seat on one of the benches you start thinking of a new escape plan. ‘it wasn’t like they would just let you walk out’; right?
That made an idea pop up in your head. What if they did just let you walk out the door. For that plan to work however you needed to find different clothes and that your picture hadn’t yet been given to the agents at the door.
Looking around the locker room you found a black catsuit that looked to be your size, you also found a pair of sunglasses. It was a shame however that you had to leave your burgundy suit behind but in life, you win some you lose some.
Walking out the locker room after having changed you walked passed a full-length mirror and had to stop for a moment. The suit was highly influenced by the Black Widow one and for some reason that made you happy, although you couldn’t tell why.
On your way out you, a couple of agents crossed your path who seemed to be searching for something, probably you and it was nerve recking but they just walked past you. Seems like your disguise worked pretty well. You were almost at the front lobby, which seemed to be designed as a business lobby.
You could almost smell the fresh air when somebody called for your attention.
“Miss, excuse me miss. Do you have a moment?” you had hoped he was talking to somebody ells but as his voice came closer and nobody seemed to be around you who he could be calling to. I stopped, hoping he would walk passed you. Just like you he stopped and tapped you on the shoulder.
Reluctantly you turn around and were a little surprised at what you saw. From his voice, you could tell he was young but the kid looked like he was still in high-school. What was a kid doing in a secret government building? Was SHIELD starting to recruit high-schoolers now for new agents?
“what can I do for you kid?” you tried to act normal and put up a smile. The kid smiled back and didn’t seem to suspect anything.
“why is everybody running around. Did something happen?” you didn’t know what to say. You hadn’t prepared to somebody ask you questions. If you gave the wrong answer he could figure out that you weren’t a SHIELD agent.
“don’t know Kid. I just started today and nobody told me anything.” He seemed to take your word for it and started rambling as he walks out away.
The second you are sure he isn’t going to turn around or is going to ring any alarms you slowly start to make your way toward the door. Walking over the threshold you let out a breath of relief. Just when you walk out the elevator doors opened The Winter Soldier and The Black Widow walked out scanning the lobby.
You don’t make direct eye-contact with them, to not draw attention to yourself but out of the corner of your eyes, you watch them and couldn’t help the smirk that forms on your lips. The Winter Soldier even directly looks at you when you blend in with the crowd.
This round may be won by you, but you were sure this wasn’t the last you had seen of them. The Avengers were notorious for being stubborn. After being sure nobody is following you, you start making your way toward one of your friends who would happily help you contact Wanda.
Bucky cursed when he stepped out of the elevator and saw you walking out the door, watching him and Nat while smirking.
“what, did you see her?” Natasha asked scanning the room to make sure you weren’t lingering in the shadows like you seemed to like doing. You had been playing with them from the start and why would you stop now.
“Just saw them walking outside and disappear in the masses outside.” Bucky was frustrated, you had eluded them this whole time. Also, there was no way they would find you in the afternoon crowd, they would just cause a ruckus. that in turn would give you time to put more distance between you and them.
The two ex-assassins were beating themselves up, how had you managed to escape a well-guarded government agency that also had the Avengers their while you did it. This whole stunt, however, confirmed you weren’t some ordinary goon.
The two Avengers were pulled out of their daze state by Peter who suddenly stood next to them.
“mister Bucky, miss Natasha what are you doing here?” Peter asked the two adults.
“Hey, Peter, here to see to Tony?” Natasha asked trying to suppress her anger. She would find you again that was a promise she made to herself.
“yes. I met a new agent and asked them what had happened because everybody is running around but they couldn’t tell me anything. Also, I don’t seem to be able to contact mister Stark so came looking for him.” Peter started rambling, which was quickly cut off by Natasha.
Every available agent was downstairs looking for you, so who was the agent Peter has seen.
“Peter, can you give me a description of this agent?” Natasha’s voice was calm and it scared Peter a little. He waisted no time in giving your description to Natasha and Bucky, who both cursed under their breaths.
“she just walked right out of the fucking door without anybody even stopping her.” Bucky hit his metal fist against the wall, leaving a dent. Natasha had a little more control over her emotions but was as angry and frustrated as he partner. This also further proved this wasn’t your first rodeo.
“peter you said she was wearing a SHIELD tactical suit?” the boy nodded and Natasha took off like a bullet back into the building. Bucky hot on her heels Peter following behind him.
“Uhm Natasha, Doll she walked out of the building. I’m pretty sure you aren’t going to find her inside.” Bucky tried to make sense of his partner's behaviour. Without looking behind her she answers.
“Peter said she was wearing a tactical suit. That means she had to have found it some were in the building and leave her own clothing behind. Cause believe me you aren’t wearing anything under that tactical suit.” Natasha also had a pretty good idea of where you had found it.
Her hunch proved to be right when she found your clothing in one of the female locker rooms on the same floor that hold the cells. It wasn’t much but maybe they could find some clues on them.
“let’s get this to the lab and examined.”
Natasha was looking with furrowed brows when they were examining your clothes. Bucky stepped up beside her and pulled her closer to him. For some reason, the woman was hyper-focused on the process and couldn’t figure out why. This went far past you just getting away.
She had seen the camera footage from your escape and there was just something so familiar in the way you carried yourself. It reminded her a bit of the Red room. Also seeing you in a tactical suit that looked like hers sparked something familiar.
“take a deep breath doll. We will find her, we always do.” Bucky kissed the side of her head, hoping to calm the redhead down a bit. She leaned back into him letting herself relax for the first time all day.
putting quite the distance between you and the SHIELD’s building and didn’t have the impression you were being followed you relaxed a bit. However, to be on the safe side you stayed to the back alleys to not raze any suspicion. Inside the SHIELD building, you might have blended in, on the street you stook out like a sore thumb.
You had already sent Lou a message with a phone you had lifted of some unsuspecting businessman. She quickly responded and told you it was okay for you to stop at her club and wait for Wanda. After that, you quickly got rid of the phone and send Wanda a mental message telling you were okay.
Rounding the last corner before you reached Lou’s club you see a woman being slammed against the alley wall by a guy pressing a knife to her throat. He had a hand over her mouth to prevent her from screaming. You should walk away, too much shit had already happened to you today but you couldn’t get it over your heart to leave the woman.
Before he could do more he was pulled away by you and put yourself between the two.
“you think it’s okay to assault a defenceless woman. Does it give you adrenaline kick when you watch them cower in fear?” You ask him, not really looking for an answer. No excuse was good for this.
The man quickly scrambled up again and pointed his knife at you. You quickly knocked it out of his hands. Who was shaking in fear now?
“go!” you tell the woman, who quickly runs back into the safety of the streets. Turning your attention back to the crook, you smirk. He was quickly handled with and left for the police to find, you were sure he would think twice before assaulting another woman.
The rest of your journey is uneventful. With how your day was going you were sure Spiderman would have come and graced you with a visit but you didn’t see him when you crossed the street and entered the club.
It was too early for the club to be open for the public and Lou was out of town with Debbi, so the only people at the club were a couple of employees. Lou and you were old business partners and rather good friends. A word she only spoke when she was really drunk.
You had left some clothes from some of those nights, thank heaven. After sorting out the clothes the next thing on your to-do list was calling Wanda, she would appreciate that more than a mental call.
However, before you can even find a phone the door behinds you open and a body crashed into your back.
“Lyubit!” even without hearing her voice you knew it was Wanda.
“Hey, sweetheart. How are you, had a nice day?” Wanda waked your arm. She hated when you acted all nonchalantly.
“don’t do that. Don’t act like what happened is nothing. I thought I wouldn’t see you again.” Wanda had untangled herself from your back and looking at the floor when she spoke. You take her chin in between your thumb and forefinger, making her look up at you. She looks up at you from under her lashes and you think she is the cutest.
“I’m sorry baby girl. I’m sorry I scared you but I’m alright and safe.” You give her a tender kiss on the lips and pull her into a big hug. She swings her arms around your neck and buries her face into your neck, you just hold her close. It took you a full five minutes before she let go.
“Why don’t we go home and let things cool down for a few days.” You proposition kissing the side of her temple. You know that at moments like this she craves physical contact. She doesn’t answer you but nods in conformation. You lead her toward the exit and try taking the keys from her. Wanda shakes her head and pushes you into the passenger seat.
“I want to get home safely. One heart attack a week is enough for me, thank you.” You feel a little offended by her statement. You thought of yourself as an excellent driver.
“I would like to inform you, sweetheart, I am an excellent driver.” You respond, puffing your chest out a little bit. When she laughs you were happy.
“sure you are lyubit but let me take care of you for now.” Instead of arguing you take the hand that is on the gear shift and press a loving kiss to it and let her drive. When you full let yourself relax your exhaustion catches up whit you and close your eyes.
“sleep lyubit. You are safe with me.” Wanda’s voice is the last thing you hear before you fall asleep.
