I don't know if you're still writing on here after Tumblr's purge last December, but if you are... could you write some headcanons for Ain's growing feelings for his s/o as he becomes Bluhen?

Yeah, we’re still writing on here, though it doesn’t seem like it lol. I’m thinking of opening up mod applications because the mods are extremely busy with university until April. What do y’all think? I will say I miss writing freely and I will not miss writing for 10-page essays :(

At first, he didn’t realize what these feelings were. How could he? He was just beginning to understand the way humans do everything. He didn’t realize why his heart sped up each time you glanced in his direction, nor did he understand the blush that would rise to his cheeks

He doesn’t understand why he continually looks out for you - you’re human, you’re bound to get hurt. It’s natural. But still, he always tries his best to make sure you’re safe and comfortable

As he becomes Bluhen, these feelings increase. He has a basic understanding of how humans work now, although he’s still working out the kinks. He’s come to understand the mortal heart beats faster when you’re around someone you adore, knows that’s why his heart beats faster around you

He takes to the internet to gain further information on this subject: how can he be a better partner? How can he be romantic? Show he cares for you? With the information he gains from these articles, he begins cooking dinner for you nearly every night. It isn’t the best thing you’ve eaten, but you appreciate his effort

His mind often wanders to the topic of marriage. What is it? Why is it so important? He often grills you for the answers on this topic, he wants to know every single detail about it so he can get it right. After all, you only get one chance at love, right?

Ain x reader reader got kidnapped by Ran. The 3 ains made a deal with Ran in order to save reader. Because of the deal they got corrupted and became 2p!Ains

You’re starting to believe that confidently taunting Ran on how all 3 Ains would come to save you was a bad idea. It’d been a few days since you’ve stayed in this prison cell, and the stale food and lack of freedom is starting to get to you. You have extra worries to think through about now: One was that you’re never going to get out. The other was that the Ains aren’t going to come get you out.

They’re usually pretty fast, after all, and they’ve always known where you are no matter where you went.

Did Ran deal with them? Hopefully not, otherwise you wouldn’t really want to stay in a dark, damp prison like this. But the possibility is rather large, considering his strength rivals even the El Search Party.

Your thoughts are quickly popped like a balloon with a needle once you hear footsteps invading in prison hallways. Struggling with your chains, you stare at the barely lit hallway, eyes squinting to make out who is here.

“…It’s us. Don’t worry.” Ain’s voice. With that tone, it should be Sia, with how dead it sounded.

“We’re here to get you out.” And that should be Erblu’s, whose tone is sickeningly sweet.

“And Ran?” you ask. They’re all silent at that response, and instead focus on breaking the locks rather than answering. Huh. That’s weird.

“You guys alright?” you ask another question. They’ve somehow grown even silenter, as if they’re refusing to answer you.

“… Honey, we look a bit… different.” The voice that probably belonged to Erblu says. “Can we, talk about this later?”

“I’ll treat you guys if you’re injured, just tell me what you’re suffering from.”

“Please.”

Yeah, something is up. You decide to simply shrug and agree, but the lack of answers is unnerving. Hopefully, the change isn’t large.

And hopefully, the darkness is just tricking you to make you think their eyes were all red.

EE reactions when he finds out that Reader (who had help him understand emotions when he was still Base! Ain) actually don't really care about their own emotions and often shut their emotions because Reader think that emotions are useless?

Ain was really grateful for you. You played a large part in his life, helping him in his development to Erbluhen Emotion. You were the first person who exposed him to human emotions when he previously thought they were mindless mortals. Feelings like joy and even sorrow, and the memories that came with them… Ain treasured them all and became a much kinder being because of you. For all his gratitude he hasn’t really shown it to you yet.

Which is why it hurts him when he starts finding you less and less.

Noticing that you’ve been shutting yourself away, he finally confronted you about it today.  

“You haven’t been out of your room very much… Why?“  

You say nothing, not looking at him and stayed focused on the floor. You didn’t even look up when wrapped a hand around yours to give it a small squeeze. "What’s wrong?” Only two words, but you can hear the worry in them. You knew he wasn’t going to leave you alone unless he gets an answer so you give it to him.

“Concern for me… is useless,” You look up to see the puzzled look on his face like you expected, so you continued.  "All those dumb feelings… They’re worthless!“

The expression turned to one of shock, completely taken aback. You knew how much these feelings meant to him, so you expected that too. The only thing that you didn’t expect was him to be so hurt. “W…Why do you say that?“ he finally said after a minute, small and meekly, as if in response to a tragedy.

You turned both of you hands into fists tightly. This was the one thing you wanted to avoid and the reason why you shut yourself out in the first place– heartbreak.

"That’s why…” you mumbled, unsure if it was to him or yourself. “I don’t want to get hurt anymore.

F! Reader x Ain. Ishamel brang Ain back to elrios because of reader. Ain came back to reader, but she does not remember him. (You can decide how Ain makes reader remember him)

“There you are!”

Someone grabs your wrist from behind.  You automatically jerk away, glancing back to see a gray-haired man with relief in his eyes.

He looks like some sort of homeless, insane person, though he’s dressed like a priest.  You’ve never seen him before in your life.

“I finally found you,” the man breathes.  “I was so worried.  Are you okay?  What-”

“Who are you?”

He stops in his tracks, blinking.  His face changes from euphoric to confused to crestfallen.  The sadness makes you want to reach forward and comfort him- wait, why? He’s a perfect stranger.

This is giving you a headache.

“Who are you?” you repeat, stepping away once again as he reaches for you.  This is making you uncomfortable.  Do you remember him?  You don’t, do you?

“Ain,” the stranger says.  “My name is Ain.  Don’t you remember me?”

Ain… The name seems vaguely familiar, but just trying to think about it gives you a headache.  You shake your head.

“I don’t know an Ain.  Sorry.”

As you turn and walk away, you hear him crumple to the ground behind you.

Imagine coming across Ain, the proud Arme Thaumaturgy, on his knees in front of a shrine of Ishmael talking about you.

“Forgive me, Goddess,” he whispers.  “For I have sinned.  I fear I’ve fallen in love with a human, and I don’t know how to stop it.  I know I’ve dedicated my life to your service – I use your power every day, and my mission is the most important thing in my life – but I can’t hold this back anymore.”

Not sure what to do, you wait as Ain takes a shaky breath.

“I’ve been leaving little gifts in their room,” he confesses, and you jump – so Ain is the person who’s been leaving you moonstone bracelets and replacement parts for your weapons, little gifts and trinkets?  “I was hoping I’d get caught, but I’m too good for that, I guess.  I… don’t know what to do.”

Is he… crying?  He’s slumped onto his heels, put his face in his hands, the proud angel distraught.  “I ask for your help, Goddess,” he murmurs.  “Give me… Give me a sign.”

You feel a whisper of wind caressing your hair, then something like ice-cold hands on your back, shoving you out of your hiding place. You stumble forward and nearly fall, barely managing to catch yourself with a loud clang on a statue.

Ain whips around, teal eyes widening as he stares at you.

Awkward, tense silence stretches between the two of you, full of possibilities – but who will make the first move?
