i was trying to imagine how elle would react to receiving a friendship bracelet from reader & all i could imagine was her giving it back when she leaves the bau bc she thinks she failed us and that she’s hated by everyone in that damn unit now and maybe it becomes a thing that the reader always takes that bracelet everywhere, away on every case the jet takes them to, every holiday, every trip home to family, down to the bodega, everywhere. because one day, you’ve decided, you’ll find elle, and you’ll put that bracelet back on her wrist, where it belongs. and maybe, just maybe, you’ll tell elle what you really wanted that bracelet to mean all along. 😭😭😭
