Maybe this is a weird request but I thought it’d be interesting to see some headcannons of a few of the fate servants reaction to a master that owns an extremely large amount of pets, like way more cats, dogs, birds, snakes and even fish compared to average and somehow manages to care for all of them. Gilgamesh:

He’s surprised that you have a lot of pets but not upset. Gil lets you talk about your pets as much as you’d like, enjoying the way that your eyes light up. He doesn’t have a strong opinion on animals one way or the other, mostly because he was always too busy to take care of one. He likes to watch you interact, however, because you know all their personalities and habits.

He tries to get you random pets, usually stuff that can kill you. He’s presented you with a lion, a snake and even a baby elephant. You always insist that he put them back and he laughs as you panic. Low eye he does want to get you something that you’ll keep, not because he likes you or anything. Be on the lookout when he starts asking you questions, it means he’s trying to dig deep.

Gil encourages you to get more space when you complain about running out. Part of him is tempted to tell you to store some inside of the Gates but resists the urge. Eventually he might but for now he just helps you plan out new toys and things that you’ll need. Overall, Gil is supportive but lets you handle the dirty work, playing with the animals when you’re not looking.

Cu Chulainn:

Cu has no idea what to say when he shows up and your house is crawling with pets. He likes animals as a go to, but the sheer number surprise him. It’s a yearly tradition at this point. The servants who have been around know what’s going on and just shake their heads fondly. You’re always very passionate about no nut November and servants bet how long it’ll take until someone calls you out about it. The record is within the first week when Gilgamesh had laughed in the middle of the hallway, called you an idiot, and then threw a tantrum when it turned out you were trying to prank him.

Cu is one of the servants who likes to help you tease the others, completely supporting you in getting rid of all nut products. The first time you tell him, he takes a good few minutes to stare at you before laughing and going along with it. Secretly he was worried that you were truly confused but now that he knows it’s a joke, he’s happy to help you prank others. It becomes an inside joke between the two of you, seeing who’s more invested in ‘getting rid of the contraband’.

Emiya is annoyed that you keep taking his ingredients but doesn’t out you as a prankster right away. He won’t defend you if someone starts to call you out but will create dishes that avoid nuts for the month. There was a time where the kitchen got destroyed because you were trying to convince Hercules not to eat nuts and the Berserker got upset about it. You couldn’t get out of that lecture.

It’s easiest to prank the Knight of the Round Table. They’re too polite (except Mordred) to try and correct you and like to remind each other to play by the ‘rules’. Nothing is funnier than watching Lancelot, Gawain and Tristin try and talk their way out of eating roasted almonds without telling you that no nut November is about sex. They were all various shades of embarrassed when you eventually let the prank drop but be warned. You’ve started the prank war and they aren’t keen to lose.

Could I get headcannons of an archer Emiya helping their master through an extreme depressive episode?

He notices your moods leading up to an episode more than the episode itself. It starts with withdrawing from the world, nothing too dramatic but refusing to go shopping and things like that. You smile less often and he catches you more than once looking off into space and having to be brought back to reality.

On the day of, Emiya doesn’t notice much. His days start early and it takes until breakfast for him to notice that you’re not there. He runs a strict house and you know when meals start. When he goes to investigate and finds you in bed still, curled up and not reacting to the world.

You don’t acknowledge him saying anything and if you do, it’s a grunt of a whimper. Sometimes you’ll just cry, not looking at anything specific, eyes glazed and inside your head. Archer let’s you wallow for the first day, taking care of everything around the house and bringing you food and water. You don’t usually eat but if it’s not too bad, you’ll nibble here and there.

He’s excellent about taking care of you. Dirty dishes never pile up and he helps you bathe when it’s been a while. Soft words don’t come easily to him, but he goes out of his way to be kinder to you, speaking lowly but firmly. He won’t let you waste away and if it’s been a few days he may scold you and force you out and about. It’s a mix of being exactly what you need and something that you dread. He pulls you out of your episode, in the most loving way he can. It’s not perfect but it’s enough.

Monster is a theme? I got something, Servant with a Master was basically brainwashed into thinking themselves a monster as a child when they're the type of person who would give someone the clothes off their own back if needed?

Monster refers more to monster AUs. That was huge type of ask over the last couple of years, but it’s slowed down a bit. Or original characters that are monsters.

It doesn’t take Chaldea to notice something is odd about you. You’re not very emotional and tend to answer in ways that are nonconfrontational. You have a habit of watching people before entering conversations, if you enter at all. Despite all of this, you’re always willing to help someone out and get dragged into more you’re your fair share of shenanigans.

The first time you crack is during the end of a Singularity. Someone is screaming at you, Mash can’t tell 100% because of the chaos, but she sees the way you flinch when they hurl out ‘you’re a monster!’. There’s a look on your face that she’s never seen before and she’s worried.

You keep in together until you’re back in your room, burying your face into your legs to wail. All your Servants can feel the sudden rush of emotions and freak, trying to find you and figure out what’s wrong. Mash is at your door in moments, walking in when you don’t answer.

She’s never seen you cry before, and she panics a little bit. It’s not her best moment but it’s not your either and it works. You open up to her for the first time, talking about how your family always called you a monster and treated you like dirt. Mash is amazed that you’re still so kind, even after all that and vows to watch over you.

As much as it hurt to have the breakdown, it helps start you down the path to recovery. Da Vinci does her best to support you and give you the best counseling that Chaldea can provide. Mash feels like she can read you easier now, knowing that your hesitation is more shyness than not wanting to get involved. Both of you work to improve and it’s helpful to have someone in your corner.
