READING CONFIRMED - William didn't want to attend The Pope's funeral
I just came across an article by Ephraim Hardcastle in The Daily Mail which claims that William was hesitant to attend the Pope’s funeral, possibly because he didn’t want to miss the Villa game.
I did a reading on Louis’ birthday, and it revealed that William was unhappy about attending the funeral. But the discontent seemed to stem more from being pulled away from Louis' birthday celebration to prepare for the trip. (I'm sure there are many behind-the-scenes discussions involved in coordinating such high-level visits, most of which remain hidden from public view.) I'm sure he was unhappy about missing the Villa game, but that was not the primary reason for his reluctance, according to the cards. It was because the preparations distracted him from truly being present for Louis' birthday celebrations.
Jimmy Carter's funeral in January 2025 was also on Catherine's birthday, so it makes sense why he didn't attend that. Especially when you consider everything Catherine and the family have been through last year.
