Hyper specific pet peeve #302: I hate it when someone is reading off a number that has an generally understood way of being segmented, and instead of reading it with those segments in mind they just read it off pausing wherever or combining random sequences of digits into numbers. Imagine some guy is reading you a phone number and reads [phone] as "sixty two, sixty five, fifty five, thirty one, thirty one. Are they wrong? Not technically, but I do hate them.
