I am curious, what is the typical ending to a spicy romance?

Is it engagement/marriage? Declaration of love?

For a Christian romance it's a pretty clear pay off, but if the moral standard doesn't have premarital or casual sex off the table, like, where does the story end? It seems like it would always feel a little muddy.

I hear them based on what accent they are described as having

I usually hear them based on their description, but I have exceptions
