Interactive Video
When recently looking at Oreo’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/oreo) I found something I’ve never seen before: an interactive 3D video.
The video was used to promote a new limited edition flavor, Filled Cupcake. It was posted on February 19. While the video is playing, you can click and drag around the video screen to look at the “world” of the Filled Cupcake Oreo. I can’t imagine the amount of hours it must have taken to animate something like that! Several comments mentioned how unique the video was and how more people should use this type of video!
The fact that Oreo is doing something unique that stands out is important for a business to do. It gets people talking and will attract more attention to your business. It’s also something I will have to keep in mind as I move forward with this project and making the transition more about books in the coming weeks.

Wonder Vault
Two weeks ago, I blogged about how Oreo wasn’t showing their newest limited edition flavor, Cinnamon Bun Oreos, enough love on social media and posting a lot about Oreo Thins. After looking at their Facebook posts for the past week or so, I’ve noticed that Oreo is now posting more frequently about their current limited edition flavors available via what they call the Wonder Vault. Several posts were recently made about flavors such as Cinnamon Bun, Filled Cupcake, and Red Velvet.
I feel like it’s important that Oreo is doing more of this now because showing off the different products your brand makes will appeal to a wider audience, thus attracting more attention to your brand. I hope to see similar posts on Oreo’s page in the future! www.facebook.com/oreo

Anything quick and easy for me. Sometimes its grapes. Sometimes its alfredo Pasta-Roni or spaghetti. When I was little it used to be Lays Original chips dipped in marshmallow fluff.
