Is not being able to tell the difference between people being genuinely annoyed at you/genuinely telling you your current behavior is inappropriate and them messing with you an autistic thing?
Yes, it can be.Autistic people often have language difficulties, and struggle to read body language and facial expression and to understand tone of voice. This can be be particularly stressful or even upsetting if you are unsure how to read a certain situation or how to interpret something that has been said.
