Tho Mo Ran keeps saying he's quitting spicy food because he wants to be more like CWN, I'm know he really is just worried he won't get kisses from Shizun if he has a spicy tongue lol
The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis.
And traitors... Dante Alighieri
CHARACTER STUDY / adam, senseless violence, and the darkness that follows.
adam is and never has been a violent person, though he can be capable of great violence. you’ll never witness him in a physical confrontation with another person, not even a verbal confrontation, to be honest. he’s not like that and probably never will be. he’s extremely rational, oozing a sense of wisdom and resilience that could take on any sort of misstep or sticky situation. you’ll never find an argumentative bone in adam’s body, as he’s sweeter than most, and probably selfless in the way that he’ll risk his own comfort for the sake of rationality in an argument or heated situation for the sake of wanting it to be over before it even begins.
but that’s not to say he’s weak. adam has plenty pent up, enough to fill him entirely. at the extremely rare chance you do see him become violent, it’s never pretty. one punch and his opponent is out, but there is no sense of victory that follows. a muggy darkness, like the second after rainfall. it’s shriveled and unlike anything, sprouting from him like weeds.
adam is capable of great, prominent violence. it’s almost intimate, you’ll feel like he’s maybe meant for that setting. but he’s quick to coil up, or hug himself like a small child that’s been pinched or punished for poor behavior. it’s not guilt that he feels, but a sense of vague remembrance. he’ll find himself suddenly feeling strong empathy for his father, as if he’d also committed his crimes and he were inside his head all along. adam will wonder if his father felt this after such violence. did he recoil in on himself and wish he’d never done it too ? were they the same ? were they always the same ? it’s a strange set of events, and it’s no surprise that you’ll never see adam in that place, as he prefers to stay far from it.
