guy who writes incest noncon fic but gets mad at you for reading rpf
I've lived these fifteen years only to eliminate my existence ^_^. That's the only reason I was able to do anything :D!
Movie Night
Or, "That Awkward Moment when You and Your Classmates Realize That the Weird Kid that Was Here for Like Three Days in the Middle of the Year Was Actually Famous" which is going to be my first foray into rpf sort of
...
Sam was the quiet type of girl who always sat in the back of class. She wasn't unfriendly, mind you, she was just kind of shy. She had few friends, but a few good friends -- and that was all she needed. She had hoped to make friends with that weird kid who had been there for a few days.
He was weird and pretended to be British sometimes, but he was kinda funny and cute. It was too bad he left after half a week. She had almost asked for his number, even.
Sam was broken from her thoughts when one of her friends called to her. Arun, his name was. A nice guy who seemed really jittery for some reason.
Arun was practically beaming down at her, "Hey, we're planning to go see the new Captain America movie. Wanna come? I'm tryna get a big group."
"The new one? Civil War? Yeah sure." Sam shrugged. She wasn't the biggest fan of Marvel, but Arun seemed oddly excited so why not? She thought about that guy Tom, who she swore was also a big fan. Was he watching Civil War today? She shook her head and followed Arun.
Arun stayed excited, even in the theater, Sam noted as she took a seat behind him. Their group was seated in the middle of the theater, a large blob of teenagers ready to watch a superhero film. You could hear quiet chatter during the previews of the different fans talking about Team Cap and Team Iron Man.
The movie started, and Sam admitted she was a bit lost at first. Apparently it was a direct follow-up to Age of Ultron, which she hadn't even seen yet. But there were plenty of people she recognized, like Captain America and Tony Stark.
And all throughout, Arun remained incredibly energetic, bouncing in his seat.
It wasn't until partway through the movie that his behavior made sense.
The whole group of students collectively gaped when Peter Parker entered a scene, meeting Tony Stark and revealing that he was Spider-Man. To fans of Spider-Man, it was awesome to see an iconic hero make it to the MCU.
To the students of the Bronx School of Science, it was wild to see their former classmate Tom Holland playing him.
"Holy shit!" Someone shouted, and Arun burst into teary laughter.
An usher came up a few minutes later when their group wouldn't calm down, and they ended up getting kicked out of the theater before they could finish the movie.
They didn't mind, though. They were busy dealing with the revelation that they'd met a celebrity and hadn't noticed.
Unbidden, a memory crawls to the forefront of Sam's mind.
"You want to know my secret?" Tom had asked.
Equal parts bemused and skeptical, Sam had answered, "Okay."
"I'm actually Spider-Man." He had said.
She had called him crazy. She had called him weird.
The memory plays over and over in her head, all the way home.

(This was a dumb idea I had while watching old interview clips)
He wouldn't be the first man to underestimate a woman, would he?
