dragon courtyard headcanons post.  probably not the last one, either, hah. 

 • while dragon well tea is the master of the courtyard and the dragon god, he does often spend time in his cave below the lake, or is off somewhere on his own business. when that happens, zitui bun picks up the role of a caretaker, making sure everyone is getting along well.   • dragon well tea has a habit of sometimes disappearing somewhere without warning, even for days at a time; the one person he will always, without fail inform about this, is zitui bun.   • naptime is taken seriously in the courtyard. there are times when zitui bun will come down to the underwater cave to sleep, and while dragon well tea doesn’t nap much himself, he will rest near zitui bun and read or meditate. whenever dragon well tea is gone for a long time, zitui’s underwater nap visits become more frequent.   • dragon well tea’s bone familiar prefers to spend time swimming in the lake, but does come up and floats in the air when summoned. it can carry around both muomuo and lury.   • dragon well tea and zitui bun are the couple that will read poetry to each other under the moonlight, with tea and light snacks, while holding each other close. frequently. 

 • dragonbun, while not over the top, but are very affectionate with each other; even if it’s something as simple as a lingering shoulder touch, or a forehead kiss, or a brief brush of hands. meanwhile realgar wine is too shy to even hold hands with longfeng stew if someone can see them.   • there are points in time when zitui bun and longfeng stew would have low key competition over who can fluster their partner the fastest. the scales are unfairly tipped because realgar wine is so easy to tease.   • realgar wine absolutely loves moumou. he visits the bunny daily, lets him to take naps on his lap, even tells him about the new concoctions and medicines he is working on before revealing the information to anyone else.   • dragon well tea cannot help but spoil moumou as well; allows the bunny to go wherever he pleases, even if it means sleeping in dragon well tea’s arms for hours on end. hand feeds him the finest vegetables that he receives as gifts from the villagers as offering to the dragon god. moumou is very grateful.   • with each passing season, moumou seems to be finding new friends as more and more bunnies appear in the courtyard. zitui bun smiles and says he has no idea how this happened.   • zitui bun and dragon’s beard candy practice playing their instruments together, sometimes performing entire duets with dragon’s beard candy also singing along. dragon well tea comes up from his cave and raises his head out of the lake to listen.   • dahongbao visits the courtyard, even during times that dragon well tea is absent, to catch up with everyone and hear dragon’s beard candy sing and play. each time he visits, he brings along ingredients that longfeng stew then snatches to make into a meal; just as dahongbao predicted.   • in general, longfeng stew makes the effort to cook something for everyone at least once a day, usually the evening when everyone can gather around and enjoy it as a family. he also makes sure to learn everyone’s favourite foods and how to cook it properly.   • longfeng stew is worried that realgar wine is overworking himself, especially when he shuts himself away with his experiments for days at a time without coming out. that is when longfeng stew insists on dragging realgar wine away from his work to take a walk, eat, do literally anything else and get some fresh air. at first realgar wine was annoyed and would argue about it; by now, he just gives in and allows longfeng stew to whisk him away for a bit, begrudgingly admitting that he needs that bit of rest after all.

realagar/longfeng, cornbread/hotdog and dragonwell/zitui bun?

slow burn: dragonbundragonbundragonbundragonbun aaaaaaaaaaaa ewe i loved this ship for awhile and i’ve always seen them to be a married couple and honestly theyre literally slowburn eternity ship and theyll be so subtle about their feelings and just letting the days go by and laying next to each other or relaxing in the summer breeze by the lake 

fake date: cornbread n hotdog because like,,,,,,,, some asshole makes fun of hotdog and shames her in public and then cornbread swoops in and says “hey dont fucking do that to my girlfriend or i will shoot you” and then cornbread decides to be with hotdog to protecc her, until she catches feels for hotdog 

enemies to lovers: realfeng???? that works because of what realgar did in the past and how longfeng legit hated the cult,,,,,,,,, like au where longfeng meets realgar when his MA was ordering him around, but realgar is confused why longfeng hates him and that makes them enemies and i dont know where im going with this
