I’ve been having some weird anxiety feelings so I decided to channel that weird energy into Mr. Fear and drawing him. He really is a gentle soul; the Media has just really spun him hard as a villain
Mr. Fear lacks the ability to recognize his own reflection in a mirror and attempting to do so causes him immense distress-so he rarely ever looks at his own reflection for too long. This is possibly due to his power trying to find something he’s afraid of and defaulting to the fact he is terrified of himself and the things he’s done because of his uncontrolled power.
It could in theory be a form of face blindness; an inability to recognize faces around one’s self or your own face; some times linked with acute brain damage. Granted how it seems to affect Mr. Fear wit him simply being unable to recognize himself in the mirror; but actively recognize others-it may simply be his power trying to pull one over on him.
