Shout out to my neurodivergent kids who struggled all the way through school. The kids who didn’t know until later. The kids who knew and didn’t have the support they needed. The kids who knew and struggled anyways.

I’m so proud of you. I’m proud of you for trying your hardest. I’m proud of you for pushing even if it didn’t feel like you were. Even if your best felt like not enough. If you felt like a failure or stupid or like you just weren’t trying hard enough. Like if you cared more you would be better. Because you do care, and you do try. And just because it’s hard, just because it doesn’t look like everyone else’s trying doesn’t mean it’s not. You are enough and I’m so proud of you.
