i think what a lot of people forget too is ur allowed to complain like. no one said u weren't allowed to complain online to ur friends about how loud that phone call on the bus is or how a kid screaming is overwhelming u. its a similar issue with those other polls where they asked is it RUDE to xyz and people were thinking about morality. like nobody said is it morally ok to do whatever in ur guest's room they asked is it rude. likewise nobody said ur not allowed to complain in a private setting about how overwhelmed u feel or whatever, shit i love complaining, the only thing thats being said is the world doesnt exist for just YOUR comfort and therefore YOU need to make decisions to aid ur own comfort in the physical moment instead of blaming everyone else on the same bus as u yknow

every person who talks shit about mcyt fanfic (or fanfic in general) should sit down and write a fanfic. the fic that if they were to read it would change their entire opinion on fanfic. If they successfully manage to do it than great! It probably didn't come out exactly as they imagined but hopefully this experience will give them a greater appreciation of fanfic & writing. If they fail they should shut up about fanfic & fanfic writers forever and ever ^^
