Agreed so hard about the "uncomfortable truth" post. I think it was snowlantern who made the great point that during the whole post-9x03 Twitterpocalypse, Chad Kennedy flat out told us that romantic Dean/Cas had not, at that time anyway, been pitched to the network. But the writers would have *had* to have pitched it if, as that post claims, they'd actually written it into the scripts so that JA could see it and throw a hissy fit or w/e. It just can't possibly have happened that way.

That is a REALLY good point! I hadn't even made that connection, so there's another point in favour of the story not being true.  They can't really argue anything that hasn't actually appeared on any scripts.

Hell, for all we know that meeting they had was to try and get more time off & that's why all the hiatuses (not really, but y'know. IT'S JUST AS LIKELY).

What bothered me more is that he still sees Lexi the same way. In 408 Damon revealed something huge to him – or it should have been huge. Damon didn’t dump him. He was, all along, a better brother than Stefan thought. He loved him more than Stefan thought. That should have been important. But what should have been even more important was that Lexi didn’t tell him. She created a new wound for them and let it fester. She let Stefan feel hurt and let down and unloved. She let him see Damon as the enemy when all Damon wanted was to be his friend – his companion – his brother. It boggles my mind that that has not shifted his perspective on her at all. He is still fondly reminiscing about his BFF like she never did a thing to hurt him or Damon. It grates, you guys. And I’d be fine if I was confident that it was a matter of Stefan deluding himself about Lexi because the reality was too difficult to face – especially when he’s busy trying to hate Damon as fervently as possible. But I worry that it’s the writers who are deluding themselves about Lexi.
