HM. So after doing some research and deep digging into old posts, I have a theory about Crown. Taking into account Chip’s post with the paint, with red on Crown’s chest, and considering how it’s been mentioned on multiple occasions that he has frequent checkups with Jingles, and in addition to how he appears drastically different personality wise from when he was younger... Something went down with Crown’s core, didn’t it?

Also can I just say how much I love Dante changing and growing through every game and not always for the better, and not always for the worse, but just in general?

Like enough for my stupid rambling of which of “Five Dantes would win?” to actually be a viable question? Because we’ve seen how Dante has moved through the aspects of his life.

Not only as a character, seeing him grow and develop and change, but just as a fan how rewarding it must be for new fans, or even someone who has been around since DMC1 back in 2001, to see Dante grow and change and progress and regress.

He’s probably the most nonsensical wildest character in any franchise in video games but he’s still so surprisingly human in a lot of aspects and seeing him continue to press on and live his life and become who he is but still open himself to change and growth is... I don’t know, kind of inspiring and hopeful.
