#it’s kinda giving Goldie @ Scrooge#like she isn’t going to sit around and wait for him#she has a life to live#but if he asked#really nicely#she would absolutely come home to him#not to retire to his mansion and give up her life#she wouldn’t want that#and neither would he#but to come home to him in the sense of#his house is their house#his room is their room#his bed is their bed#as in she has actual wardrobe space where she leaves her clothes#not some little drawer of things she behind#but her space#where everything she needs is there#she won’t always be there to use it#but a part her will yearn to home when she’s away#and a big part of him can’t wait to have her back#he loves her because she’s indendant and capable and does her own thing#because she’s her own woman#and he doesn’t want to hold her back to have her as his and his alone#no he just wants to come home and find her in his room getting ready for bed#and sit and eat next to her#for them to wind down with a bottle of wine after a particularly tough week#for after one hundred years of tough uncertain passionate and difficult love#they want#they deserve a soft epilogue#scroldie
