Laid back.
my friend rewatched religulous (2008) and was texting me about it. so then i rewatched it, which made me think of spotlight (2015) so i watched that, which then made me go watch deliver us from evil (2006), and now i’m watching sleepers (1996).
So I had my wisdom teeth out Monday. Not only have I not been in any real noticeable pain, I have actually been in less pain than normal because my back isn't shooting me in the legs and pulsing like an angry hornet. I have also been in the best mood ever. I keep getting asked "what's your pain level?" Pain level? Honey let me sing it from the mountaintops. I feel like a newborn angel. It occurred to me that I hadn't had a single depressing thought since before the surgery, and even when I thought about it, I didn't care. I thought about how normally I'd be having horrible anxiety over laying in bed and "wasting" my time watching TV (even though my face looks like a bowl/chipmunk) and I waited for the crippling horror to come and...nothing. Even my bffl asked if I was on meds that were affecting my mood because I was being really optimistic and happy. Why yes I am friend. I am on narcotic painkillers. I feel amazing. Let me hug you. So moral of the story, I'm seeing a psychiatrist and a back doctor once my face goes back to being face sized. Apparently getting my wisdom teeth out is supposed to hurt (???) and not be the single greatest and most pain-free experience of my memorable life. Also apparently I'm "extremely pleasant" and now my mom thinks maybe meds are for me since I'm so freaking at peace with my existence. I've been rating my pain on my back pain scale (4 to 8 on a normal day with max dose over the counter meds every day for the past 10 years of my short life) and I've averaged about a 1.5/2, maxing out at a 7.5 for about an hour yesterday. This might be the best thing that has ever happened to me. Summer is looking to be going even better than I'd hoped. Thank you Vicodin for possibly getting me better pain management on my back and meds that will improve my mood. So excite. Much wow. Yay.
it's only half way through the term and everyday i ask my friends to hit me with a car
