I decided to rewatch Deadpool and wolverine today and holy fucking shit I forgot how peak this movie is. Literally screaming crying and throwing up. It's so gay. I feel oddly emotional now. I miss the summer of 2024. Like I wanna cry

Kevin Day is my all time favorite out of all the Foxes, and I get really frustrated when people say that he's a coward. Like, sure, he was oblivious to the fact that Neil was Nathaniel, but even Riko didn't know for sure until he used the DNA test. And the Happy Birthday Jr. situation was most likely not his fault either, since not even Neil ran. Kevin has been with the Ravens before Jean and Neil. He knows Riko's patterns, his tells, his moves from playing alongside him. Especially with the Raven partnering system. But I honestly wouldn't classify him as a coward for not standing up to Riko. Yes, he got out of the Raven's clutches and escaped, but still cannot remove his tattoo or do anything that might make Riko extremely angry. He knows he can't tell Riko no. And he also knows how Riko is when not angry.

Imagine how many nights Riko came back to their room. Angry, ready to throw something, almost ripping at the seams. But there were some nights he might've just been tired, letting out a soft sigh, or taking a breath after a grueling practice. Kevin knows the soft moments, the ones he can never fully escape. He begged to be a history major, only for Riko to agree but make him do his work. They are connected at the hip. They identify with each other. Of course Kevin would act cowardly when Riko is brought up, because he can never fully escape him. Even in death, the nest's partner program made a huge deal in Kevin's life. He'll always be haunted by Riko. And the fact that he keeps going, whether it being Exy or in life, shows he's trying to survive his life.
