i don't usually use stealing because it's kind of useless but this playthrough ive been trying it with everyone just to see what they keep in their pockets. and if you unsuccessfully steal from people at ostagar someone snitches on you to duncan in ambient dialogue LOL.
silksong movement mechanics feel like a natural progression from hk. being able to chain sprint jumps, dashes, and mantle jumps from such an early part of the game makes exploration and doubling back a fun movement puzzle instead of a slog. once you explore an area you can start optimizing movement through it. it's so satisfying

If anyone feels bad about their perceived lack of originality in their fanfic writing, don’t beat yourself up about it. Fanfiction shouldn’t be stressful; it should be fun and, while yes you can absolutely strive to write fucking the fanfiction equivalent of War and Peace, Fanfic is inherently a medium where you don’t really need to care about “bad writing” since you’re mostly doing it to engage in various mediums that you already love.
Hell, even then, unoriginal fan fic can be fun and awesome as hell too. My current magnum opus (that I share with the frankly even more creative @aasimar-cleric) is an FMAB sequel series and the main characters are Wrath but also Tom King’s Mister Miracle and Dante, Chris Redfield but also Kiryu Kazama, and Cassandra Cain but also Tharja and HK-47. The biggest arc that we have created is an FMAB spin on my personal favorite Batman story arc. There are a ton of shout-outs and Easter eggs regarding everything from Star Wars to Lord of the Rings to Haikkuu!! to Metal Gear to Soul Eater to the works of Iron Maiden. And you know what? This is the proudest I’ve ever been of a fan fic. I try to write things well but ultimately that takes a back seat to making everything fun as hell. It’s pure self indulgence that I’m sure people get sick of hearing me talk about but in the end I love it to death.
My point is that fanfic is all about going nuts and sharing your love of a medium; if you have an idea, go fucking nuts and don’t let anyone give you shit about it. Canon, non canon, doesn’t matter. You’re all sharing love for a series/movie/game/book and that’s all that matters.
