Finally watching the prequel movie
I love how its reaper that starts the prevention of entertainment.
He brings all the tributes after Dill dies. He covers her, and all the others. Even those who he would have killed without a second thought if it meant protecting the girl he came in with.

Honest to god I think Hadestown suits ReapMina more than any of the other tributes or their ships. (I have in fact read that LumberHouse one but it didn’t read right to me? Good author tho…)
Cause well, Book!Lamina reads as a runaway or someone who’s known a lot of hardship and hunger. And Reaper just seems so idealistic despite the grim circumstances.
It just fits too perfectly…
ReapMina time travel fic where after they die their back in the cattle car and just… don’t know how to feel about everything?
Except make it a mix of book and movie so their alliance happened but Treech still joined the Pack. So we can have some passive aggressive moments between TreeMina where it’s obvious Lamina no longer likes/trusts Treech in any way, shape or form. Not to mention her pettiness with the Fours or Tanner.
Reaper’s just in the background somewhat surprised but entertained as well.
Both decide they’re immediately gonna ally again like no question. Doesn’t matter if Lamina or Reaper supposedly “prove their worth” in anyone’s eyes they are only out to protect themselves as well as maybe Wovey and Dill (Mizzen has Coral and Lamina’s aforementioned pettiness would make it hard to prioritize him.)
And all the other tributes are like super confused, because they have no clue why these two are seemingly sticking together or why they’re so overtly hostile to Lucy Gray, Treech, Tanner or the Seablings.
And shenanigans ensue.

Why is everyone sleeping on ReapMina?
Like their canon allies, and seemed to be close enough where Reaper wears her bit of the flag as a cape. And it’s only after her death that he makes the morgue.
I feel like they have more potential than TreeMina or my personal OTP TanMina. It just makes sense the two most “honorable” tributes be paired off, plus the idea of Clemensia and Pup being forced to work together for their tributes is too funny.
Kinda makes me want to make an AU where they ally earlier than canon? Just to see the repercussions of it on the others.
Also suggestions on potential ship names would be appreciated.
