Faebruary Day 4 - Reve Faucher, the Fauchereve

What does Reve do when he's not making chaos happen in Dreamtalia? Has anyone ever seen him outside of Kyokoon64? I sure have. Lol. Such a puppy is he!

*Should he break his concentration? Should he approach at all? The man was very, very focused, on his...something or other-Wait. ...fishing pole, campfire, bubbling pot, carrots and onions-*

‘Child’

The young boy gazed up at the tall figure interrupting his reading. Had it been anyone else, he would have given them his most menacing glare. Instead, his eyes lit up with surprise and glee, quick to abandon the book to cling to the red-head’s leg.

“Woowoo! You done for today?! Did you bring any presents???”

Oh good, Madeline you’re home. About time, I should say. We were going to pursue more potions and wand technique, but something a bit more interesting has come up. Come here.

M!A Sleep Sickness (Mundi in Wonderland) FULL

So considering this was a month and a half long event with a lot of art and a lot of people being involved, I figured itd be a neat idea to compile all of the art of it (of both mine and the people involved, with permission of course) so it can be looked back on! All right here we go!

Prolouge: Mundi done fucked up

So back in March, Mundi got cursed of if he drinks any alcohol, he’ll be put in a sleeping spell. .... .... Welp, that happened.

and thus the story begins!

Chapter 1: Matt-a-pillar (featuring @hitandrunduorp)

So this story doesnt go the same way as the Alice book, nah it went differently depending on the characters. So the Caterpillar (By 2P Canada Matt who’s by @hitandrunduorp, accompanying art also by them) was the first. Mundi having thought to have smelled food while it was just his pipe. Mundi decides to take up on his offer to get high. Pretty swift friends, I’d say

Mund you’re high as fuck, stop that

Chapter 2: The Mad Hatter (Featuring @nonsensicaljello and @hitandrunduorp)

Mundi gets pointed in the direction of the Mad Hatter to find food. 

This time around it is Adam as the Hatter and Evelyn as the March Hare (Utah ocs by @nonsensicaljello, accompanying art also by them) complete with a complete jello party and chaos

Featuring also Moses’s mom as the dormouse

Before he knows it, Mundi’s shot right out of a canon back into the woods, where he runs into a friend

Though mundis not very happy with all of this, all he wanted to do was find help and he had to be treated with chaos and being shot through the air. Mattapiller to the rescue, though

With some comfort and a place to rest, Mund decides to take shelter at the mushrooms for the time beings

Chapter 3: The Cheshire Cat (Featuring @reapingdreamer)

Once more lost, this time he gets some help from somebody who was sent to try to help him out 

the one and only Dream Reaper himself! (Fauchereve played by @reapingdreamer)

Figuring what he needs to find is in the Country of Hearts, he opens up a direct path, after all what could possibly go wrong?? Mundi’s not sure, but all he knows is that he has a bad feeling.

Chapter 4: Riverside (Featuring @lambofthelions)

Now during this whole ordeal, whenever Mundi goes to sleep in this world, he wakes up in the real world, but believes everything is a dream. 

Barely concious and hallucinating vividly, he worries just about everyone around him, mostly Vanya (2P Russia/Novgorod played by @lambofthelions, accompanying art also by them)

Here comes a fox fact; For the most part it was a fox he was following in the wonderland, so he kept asking about it

One night he finally saw it in his ‘dream’ 

and decided to follow him all the way to the rivers edge

It would appear this fox wasn’t an ordinary fox, but the spirit of Vanyas adopted son who had died long ago, Ludislav. 

For the most part, Mundi’s sickness seemed to copy his almost exactly, and he wasnt very keen on letting Vanya lose someone like that again.

Chapter 5.5: Mundi’s Bad Feeling

This didn’t actually happen but a user @splitinone made a comic of what they thought would happen based on a dream

Chapter 6: Court of Hearts - Rose Maze (Featuring @temptationattwilight and @disgruntled-dogmusher )

So Mundi gets lost in the rose garden for a good few days, never a fun thing. 

But he comes across the gardener of the Hearts “Schwarzy” (Raven Gilbert by @temptationattwilight) painting the roses red. Because he might try to get a favor, he decided to give a hand to help. After some talking, Schwarzy makes a mention of being able to survive a bedheading before agreeing to help Mundi meet the royals

To do so, the gardener gives Mundi a new dress to help with a good first impression

With that Mundi sets off to try to find a place to be to find a place t oact naturally

only to come across Ann-ave of Hearts (Alaska oc played by @disgruntled-dogmusher,  accompanying art also by them) in the stockades awaiting a trial. Mundi decides to wait by her and get whatever info he can of how this place actually is compared to how the Cat hyped it up.

Chapter 7: Court of Hearts - Croquet (featuring @empathmoineau, @ashfree-sweettea, and @reapingdreamer)

It doesn’t take long to run into the Royals

Considering one is his abusive ex (2P America played by @ashfree-sweettea,  accompanying art also by them) and his current boyfriends ex (Human Nyo!Canada played by @empathmoineau) he’s not exactly the most thrilled.

Croquet game is suggested and off they go to set up

Of course he’s not going to be wearing the colors of his ex at this rate, back to the old. But the game is at hand soon enough!

And then theres this asshole

Off with his head? Nah. But the games ruined, time to move on to a trial for some actual amusement!

Chapter 8: Court of Hearts - Trial of Tarts (Featuring @empathmoineau, @disgruntled-dogmusher and @ashfree-sweettea)

Annave of Hearts, she stole some tarts? Not guilty she says! Queen calls bullshit though.

Mundi kinda agrees with Annave though, these royals were crazy. But he gets called up to act as her lawyer so he has to prove that himself

Eventually, the Queen gets caught in her lie, but despite it, she still calls Annave guilty, Mundi doesnt handle it well

mistakes are made

That aint the end of him though

He’s going home one way or another and leaving that place behind

Meanwhile in the real world

Seems that little beheading did a lot more damage than he thought and killed him for a while. Vanya didnt seem to take it all well, but he did bring him back. Not only with CPR, but a kiss as well. Not sure how much he can exactly take of seeing his love slowly die in front of him and all.

Chapter 9: The End is Nigh

Siegmund’s made a run for it, following the fox that brought him here from the very beginning

Things start getting reeaal weird, though

But alack! A door! Only to see himself on the only side. 

Only a dream?? Say it isnt so!

... .... ...

Time to wake up and be home. At last.

First thing to? Make pancakes obviously!

AND FINALLY THESE TWO CAN BE REUNITED AND HAPPY. HUZZAH!

And thats it, basically!

Thank all of y’all for helping out in this event, it kinda happened out of the blue but man what a trip! Hopefully now we can get some good happy times out from this angst.

"Papa, this sucks." Reve seemed to have melded into his nightmare, tipping his helmet back to look at the shaking roof as he glanced around the blossoming beginnings of a nightmare around him. He was taking a break from mundi watch, seems Vanya needed attention too. "Why are we here?"

Vanya didn’t seem to recognize him whatsoever, peering at him through the mud and engine grease smeared on his face. There were 9 here? He must have miscounted. Nevertheless, this young man could have his own ration. He needed it, yes, but it was the young boys that broke the easiest.

“We are waiting for our turn.”

“Either things will get better, or everything here will die. Is inevitable thing, and swimming against its tide will simply tire us all out.”

His childish squirming slowly came to a stop as he heard the full story, now starting to understand. He tapped his hands on the frame of his currently reflection, humming a bit in thought at the perdicament. Well, that did sound worrisome. After a bit of silence, he suddenly jumped.

“Wait a second, so he’s sleeping all the time! I could probably go in there and wake him up from the inside! Or at the very least bypass his dreams and look through his memories to see what got him sick! I could watch him from the inside so you can sleep on the outside!”

If you wanted his attention, you got it. The old man was back on his feet, knees crackling as he went, and slapped at both sides of the window frame. He must have looked completely crazed from the outside, but what did that matter? He had a lead!

“...If you could just tell me what started this, I would be eternally grateful!”
