1000 Reasons to Love The Mandalorian (23/1000)
I think that all my posts until now didn’t really reflect how much I love Cara Dune… (Apart from [THIS] one maybe...)
I honestly don’t even know where to start, because I like everything about her, from the actress that plays the role or the name to her background or outfit. So maybe I just focus on the fact that I’m really intrigued. There are many fictional characters that I liked to some extent, but I didn’t really need to know more about. They were on screen for 20-40 minutes, I enjoyed watching their adventures. And that was enough.
With Cara I really want to learn more. Both about the past and about how her story can intertwine with Din’s in the future. Because I refuse to believe that she won’t appear again. Whether it’s on Nevarro, on Sorgan, or on some weird random planet we’ve never seen. I want them to meet again. We often talk about Cara being Din’s first real friend, but I can see him as her first friend as well… at least the first one after a longer time of being alone. (She may have liked people on Sorgan, but she wouldn’t have stayed on Nevarro without much thinking if she had some meaningful relationships there.)
So I can’t wait for her comeback. I’d even be cool with watching Cara on her own for a while. Or her career on Nevarro as Greef Karga’s right-hand woman criticising his managing skills every ten minutes… (“fOuR sToRMtroOpeRs?!” flashbacks :D).
