“Hi. Welcome to the House of Mouse theater. What will you be seeing today?”
Lottie wasn’t one for materialistic things. One would think otherwise after being raised by the queen of vanity, Gothel herself. Always having to be the picture perfect young lady was exhausting. She hated it. But she had an imagine to uphold, and if she didn’t? Well, she’d never hear the end of it.
Even still, Lottie didn’t focus on things of that nature often. So when she did? Well, she was completely enchanted. Just as she was now, standing in front of a store front, eyes fixated on a necklace. She probably shouldn’t have been pressed up against the glass, considering who her mother was. She was sure the authorities would be called soon. But she didn’t care. This necklace was stunning and she couldn’t break away.
“What I would give..” She muttered to herself.
Erik was thankful for the weather cooling down in the city recently. It was just another sign that Christmas was getting closer, and he loved Christmas. So, even though it wasn’t anywhere near the temperature for snow, Erik decided to wear one of his favorite Christmas sweaters. It was navy blue with stripes and snowflakes. It was warm, and fairly worn from the years of usage, but he wore it with pride, even as he heard someone say “You know it’s not Christmas yet, right?” He looked up, trying to see where the voice had come from.
It had been a quiet day in Hundred Acre Books, so Theo sat behind the counter reading. After a a few minutes, the bell rang, signaling the door had opened. “I’ll be with you in a minute.” He quickly finished his page and set the book down. “What can I do for you?”
Either time has froze, or business was really that dead. Jackie sat on the stool behind the counter of the shop, lips pushed out in thought as she tapped her fingers against the counter top. She had a piece of equipment in front of her that she should have been working on. But it was such a slow day, she figured she had plenty of time to fix the piece of tech.
Picking up a small tool, she poked the technology’s inners and frowned. “Entertain me,” she said with a pout. Today was not a good day for Poole’s Repairs. Just then, she heard the door open, causing her to look up in hopes that business was coming.

The weather was nice outside, so Nyx took the opportunity to work on her current painting outside on the balcony of her studio apartment. It was a fall inspired piece after all. She had been hard at work for a few hours and she was starting to feel the piece was actually coming together. As she set down her paintbrush in the cup of paint water, it toppled over the edge, sending dirty liquid down towards the ground. Hearing someone scream, Nyx shouted. “Shit! I’m so sorry. Are you okay?” She was honestly too afraid to look, not sure if the sudden spill had scared them, or actually spilled on them.
