I really like the Coen brothers. I like watching something really cinematic that feels like theatre, almost. When it all gels together perfectly, so you can appreciate the sounds and the acting and the visuals and the story, but it all works together as one piece. I think that’s very clever.

ya lit meme: [7/9] quotes — Clockwork Prince, Cassandra Clare
It was just one of those days, the kind in which Theo felt the need to write, and write, and write, and he just couldn’t stop. His pen was moving quickly, his mind not focused on the words, but instead focused on the story those words were telling. However, Theo’s mind began to focus a little too quickly. For every object he wrote about, it would suddenly be there. He was writing things into existence. “My my, what have I done?” Theo giggled at his work.Â

“Nope! Your arms are just really that noodly!” Quincy grinned as he held the book in his hands, glancing over the pages. That’s when Theo had said he doesn’t see anything. “Have you gone blind? There’s so much to see! So much to read! And these pictures are just-“ but then the book shut immediately, leaving Quincy a bit startled as he placed the book back down on the counter. His eyes were wide with wonder and delight, a wide smile gracing his lips. “I told you,” he giggled before leaning against the counter. “Where, oh where, shall we hide it? I was thinking maybe another tree, definitely not the same tree, that’d be silly. But maybe somewhere lower this time! Like in a burrow, or maybe a well! Or we can place it inside of a box and bury it deep deep deep!”
Theo let the comment go over his head, he wasn’t in the mood to try and decipher the actual context. He was much more interested in what this book was, what it meant, and the secrets it held. Theo was happy that Quincy seemed just as intrigued. “I’m not so sure what we should do with it, but it is curious isn’t it?”Â

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” ― C.S. Lewis
I don’t read books. I carry books. I travel with them, Page for page. I craft books. I rip books apart. I smoke books and That’s true because I once rolled A joint out of a Kerouac. I believe in books. I listen to books. I smell books, the sour taste of ink Ascending from the paper. I crave books And I miss books, The same as I miss everything else I love so bad. So never try to teach me about books Because assuming you know more about them Just shows you’ve never even understood one.
