rebel paige black - third year
(this post is set in the regular “sirius goes to azkaban” universe)
so rebel, being the smartass she is, has her suspicions about scabbers the rat but has never said anything to ron
she follows ron, hermione and harry when they’re chasing the rat towards the whomping willow and tries to stop them from going further (cause it’s the freaking whomping willow)
then when “ThE gRiM” (aka sirius) appears she immediately knows it’s him
she stands there agape until he pounces at ron and then she decides that she knows exactly what sirius is doing
so then the whole whomping willow fight happens and she thinks it’s a good idea to watch harry and hermione get battered for a bit before immobilising the tree and going through the secret passageway
and of course she knows where the tunnel leads but she’s not about to spoil the fun here
so when they walk through and see sirius she just
she stands there and looks at him
and he limps over and brushes her cheek with his hand
but then harry, being an idiot and not knowing sirius isn’t in fact a murderer, screams:
“get away from her!” and tackles him to the ground, holding him at wandpoint
at this point she’s very done with this whole ordeal and is about to disarm harry herself when...
BOOM IN COMES REMUS
he disarms harry and says the whole “madness within” speech and they embrace and everything is great
rebel is over here smiling like a git
sirius walks over again and starts rambling
“dear god she has my eyes”
“and my bone structure!”
“blimey i bet she’s a troublemaker”
“so she’s on the quidditch team, yes?”
and what does remus say?
“well sirius, it is almost like i’ve been raising a mini you for the past 13 years.”
fast forward to when they’re out of the shack and snape is now here and peter is recognised
moony’s here to play everyone
remus starts to transform and all sirius and rebel can do is beg for him to not forget who he is
rebel feels a pang of guilt because she should have asked if remus had taken his potion
both rebel and sirius get thrown aside as he transforms
whilst in the bushes, rebel helps sirius up and he says:
“now, i wonder if you’re really like me”
and then they BOTH TRANSFORM INTO THEIR ANIMAGUS
rebel’s is a black wolf with grey accents
then they have a grand time with moony
i hope this was enjoyable? this is just an edited scene that basically happened but i just put rebel in for fun
