Time for some crazy ass theories about your Boy Norman
So, as someone who did not attend the stream, and as such has 0 context for what happened, I’m just gonna go off my intuition,(and probably be wrong in the process
So, from what I’ve gathered, both gig and Exa have the capacity to collect, and, at least in Exa’s case, revive AI’s. Now, Exa’s ability is particularly impressive. If you've got a factory mass producing cheap robot bodies, and a basically reusable supply of AI to host them, you've got yourself a fuckin army, something which Norman could very much use. Additionally, Gig has access (and possibly control to a limited extent) to any AI which have ever been destroyed, which likely includes military/security grade AI. couple that with the fact that both gig and Exa have full access to the breadth of the World Wide Web, likely including most government controlled sites, provides Norman with the ability to basically cause an Omnic crisis-level event while also trashing humanity’s digital infrastructure. As for how Norman got ahold of Gig and Exa’s support, my personal theory is that, quite frankly, he just brainwashed convinced them to join him using his potential secret AI control module Charismatic personality
