#reboot 2014

hey dudes!  so thanks to the combined forces of my body, my bicycle and my friends, in one month minus one day I made it from Milwaukee to Washington, DC.  I got almost to the WVA border on my bike -- about 640 miles -- before finally graciously conceding defeat to the Ohio hills (and my swollen ankle, jabbing knee pain and blood periodically slipping down from the gash in my shin).  my friend retrieved me and spirited me back to DC, where I am now resting, healing, cat-sitting and asplorin' DC for the first time in a decade+ before starting leg two up north probably next weekend.

I'm New York City-bound next, where I shall hopefully see some old friends and also some of my new GISHWHES friends, and then east from NYC to Boston for probably a few weeks in October, if all goes planned.

Rebooting this account

I had to give up this account because of personal stuff that's not important now but I'm back and I'm rebooting this character. In the previous version of said character, he was a lab created neko hybrid... now he's just this guy. It'd be difficult if not impossible to go back and delete or remove all the old posts so consider this post as indicative of the cut off point and showing the fact that everything from this point on pertains to the new character.

Thanks for reading and sorry I disappeared on some of you. It wasn't intentional.

Situation Update

After thinking about it for a while, and thanks to the advice I've received from those I've asked about this, I've made my decision regarding this blog: I am going to put the current incarnation of the "Krampus In the Everfree", featuring Tired Pinkie Pie on hold. I will be revisiting it with an extended set of comic pages in the future, written out like an actual comic. I will be rebooting the whole comic starting April 21st, the third year anniversary of when I started all this.

While the reboot is going on, I will be keeping everything posted so far up for the sake of posterity. I'll also be adding new tags to the old posts that don't fit with where I plan to take this comic so people can easily find them again. I'll also be adding a tag for those old posts that I do want to keep as part of the reboot canon as well.

Despite the main focus being comic pages, I will also do individual asks with illustrated replies, something akin to an illustrated "Letters to the Editor" at the end of most comic issues nowadays. While these won't have a direct effect on the plot of the current issue, they will help answer any questions that the comic issue doesn't address.

I'm really excited about all this, as this means that I can actively work towards bettering myself as a comic writer and illustrator. While the month-long count-down is going on though, please feel free to send any asks you have about Krampus and his friends you might have, and I'll get started with answering them as best as I can.

tl;dr version: I'm rebooting the tumblr but keeping everything for archiving's sake. Reboot will feature comic issues akin to the MLP series and MLP Mini-Issues. Asks will be answered separately from the comics. Asks are now open for input!
