October 13th: I still haven't been home. But I guess this is home in a way. I appear to have amassed the greatest family a girl could ask for and I don't believe I've ever been happier or more well balanced. Which just goes to show how important a good fucking support network is for people like us. And much as my personality disorder likes to antagonise me with thoughts of things going horribly wrong, I'm pretty damn certain that no matter how much shit life throws at us, we'll still find a way to come out on top. Because we found our people, and we know damn well that every one of us would lay down our life for one another if it came to it.

October 7th: I can't think of shit all to write these days if I'm honest. I'm around a month into a relationship with a man I've loved since I first met him 25 years ago and who I never expected to be in a relationship with ever and, despite him snoring like a drain full of corpses in bed next to me right now, I'm not sure I've been more content.

It's funny because I always said us getting together would be like the bringing about of the apocalypse. And then we watched something the other night that said apocalypse means "revelation". And it's funny that I never knew that before. And it's funny that I missed so much whilst at the same time not missing a beat.

I have gained much faith in myself over the last few weeks. Never before have I been made to feel so much like the Priestess I claim to be. Never before have I felt so utterly worshipped. And as much as I may have enjoyed being his Princess over the years, it pales in comparison to being his Queen.
